Pride

The moonlight shines on the trampled fields,

Which should have been filled with crop,

But all of the soldiers have passed with shining shields.

The farmer worked so hard on it and put in ev'ry drop.

They passed with marching horses with many a cheering crowd,

they passed with heads held high, so, very proud,

Without a thought of what was under,

Without the thought of increasing hunger.

Now many a crowd is at the door,

All so hungry, rich and poor.

But nothing has the farmer to provide,

Since all was destroyed with much of pride!

MITTEN

Mostly used in fall and winter,

It keeps your fingers warm.

The outside blocks the ice and snow,

The inside keeps you warm and cozy.

Every person uses it for sports,

Not everyone will despise this handwarmer.

Spring

Bright, Fresh

Growing, Developing, Flourishing,

Flowers, offspring, Leaves, wind

Falling, Storing, Sleeping

Chilly, Deciduous
