Jeremy's POV
I woke up the next day In my room. Memories coming back from last night. How I treated stefanie after we just got together. I can't believe I treated her that way. She doesn't deserve that. I went downstairs and Elena wasn't home. "Jenna I think I'm gonna have my girlfriend over" I said
"Girlfriend?" She repeated in shock
"Yeah I have a girlfriend." I said
"Who is she?" Jenna asked
"Uh her name is stefanie" I replied
"Last name?"
"Salvatore" I revealed
"As long as you guys don't do anything I'm fine with it. Elena went out of town for the day. Since you have school today you should invite her over for dinner" Jenna suggests
"Uh if you want" I shrug
"Great. Go get ready and I'll drive you to school" she smiled and walked off. I got myself ready and Jenna drove me to school

I made my way to the front enterance of the school and looked around for stefanie. I saw her with Matt Donovan "stefanie" I called out and ran to her
"What do you want Jeremy" she sighed
"I'm sorry about last night. I was being an ass" I apologize
"Your always an ass Gilbert" Matt scoffed
"Shut up Matt. This doesn't concern you " stefie snapped
"Sorry" he put his hands up and walked away
"Look I'm sorry. You don't know how much I want to be with you" I grabbed her hands and looked in her eyes.
"Yeah well sorry doesn't cut it" and at that she went to class.
Eventually history class came around. I looked at stefanie and saw her talking to Stefan. I miss her. She sat down in front of me, her usual seat and class began. "Today we will be learning about the American Civil war. Who can tell us about it?" Mr tanner asked "Miss Salvatore. You seem oh so interested in this class. Why don't you share some facts about the civil war"
Stefanies POV
Mr tanner called on me in the middle of class and asked about the American Civil war. "Well for starters it was between the Union and the Confederacy and it was about slavery and weather they should abolish it or not. President Lincoln delivered the Emancipation Proclamation after the battle of Antietam for the confederate army even though he was in the Confederate army" I smirked
"And-"
"Lincoln was also the first assasinated president of the United States" I add and see Stefan smiling at me.
"Good job Miss Salvatore"he chuckled. "The rest of you. You will be doing a project on a battle of the American Civil War. I will pick your partners for you" he starts calling out names and then he says mine "let's have miss Salvatore with Mr Gilbert"
I look over at Jeremy and let out a low growl. Class ended and Jeremy met me outside the door "hey stefanie since were stuck together doing a project why don't you come over my house tonight? You could come over for dinner and we could work on the project"
"Fine. But I have cheer practice after school so either you have to wait for me or I can walk to your house"
"I don't mind waiting" he smirked making me blush.
"I still haven't forgave you" I smiled
"I know. Thats why I'm convincing my aunt to make us chicken nuggets" he winked
"Hmm still not enough" I smirked
He grabbed me by the collar of my shirt instantly giving me butterflies in my stomach and pushed me against a locker and pulled me by my neck and gave me a strong kiss "How about that"
"Let's try again" I smirked and pulled him closer to me and out lips smashed and moved in sync "your lucky Gilbert"
"I know salvatore" he chuckled
"Get back to class" I laugh and walk to class.
The day passed and soon it was lunch. Stefan told me to go to the back of the school so I did "what's up Stefan?" I asked
"I'm here to give you some blood. Your dad dropped it off at school. He said that you can only drink it when I'm around. So drink as much as you can" he explained.
"Eww this blood is AB negative. That's like the worst flavor in blood" I crunched up my nose.
"You chose to drink human blood. If you drank animal-
"Stefan I don't like animal blood. It's gross" I complained
"Your just like your father" he sighed "just drink the blood"

I drank the whole thing and went back into the building to see Tyler beating the shit out of Jeremy. "Tyler get off of him!" I yell and run towards them
"Or what princess?"
"Or I'll snap your neck in half"
He grabbed me by my waist and threw me down on the floor. By this time he was fully on top of me. "What are you gonna do now?" He smiled
"Get off of me" I struggle to push him off but he's too strong.
"Get off her Tyler" Jeremy shouts
"We will finish this at the game Friday. Both you you. You better be there" tyler points and walks off.
Jeremy comes closer to me and pulls me to a hug "I'm so sorry this happened to you stefanie"
"It's fine"
"No it's not. I don't think you should come to the game of Friday" Jer said
"Jer I'm on the cheer team! And my uncle is on the football team!" I shouted
"Shit. Then just stay with your cheer squad. If anything happens to me don't do anything. I can defend myself. I don't need tyler punchin ya again" he cupped his oversized hand on my cheek
"Fine. Just be careful though. I don't need my human friend getting hurt" I chuckled
The day ended pretty quickly and I went to Jeremy's house after school.
