Time had passed after the presentations and Lavender had gained her spirit back.

"Rippy! It's getting warmer outside!" Lavender exclaimed as she quickly spun around on her small feet, that were adorned with pretty black flats.

Ripley laughed at the seemingly happy girl that fluttered around his shop like a butterfly, who had just earned her wings.

"It's only February, sweetheart." His tone was laced with care, and Lavender's smile got even bigger.

"Oh I mean you are right, but still warmer. That was silly of me to say." Lavender's laughter was cut of by the shop's door opening.

"Victoria!" Lavender exclaimed as she was pulled into her friends hug.

"I'm stealing Lav! It's very important!" Victoria yelled to her grandfather before dragging Lavender behind a bookshelf.

Ripley muttered something along the lines of 'crazy girl' and it made Lavender grin.

Lavender was very confused by Victoria's excitement, but let out a loud laugh when Victoria ran into some of the books.

"Stop laughing at me! I'm here to tell you what we are going to do!" Victoria exclaimed.

What they were going to do? Lavender was intrigued now.

"There's this party, it's on campus. One of Leo's friends is throwing it. It's tonight, so we got to get ready together!" Victoria explained as she looked for her friends answer.

Lavender didn't like crowds, but she had never been to a party before. They seemed to interest her friend, so Lavender wanted to go!

"Okay?" Lavender's voice came out with a smile, and Victoria did a little happy dance.

Lavender finished her last chapter, she found herself at the bookstore a lot on the weekends. Ripley made her happy. Once she had finished reading, They headed to Victoria's apartment.

"Pizza and movie?" Lavender asked, shyly after they entered through the apartment door.

"You read my mind, I'm starting to think this is going to be a tradition." Victoria laughed and hung her coat upon the hanging rack.

Lavender's lips quirked up, and she nodded. Victoria ordered a big pizza as Lavender got to pick the movie, though they barley even watched it. Talking about anything, their friendship was building and was being written in stone somewhere.

Soon they were on their way to the party, but Lavender was getting a little nervous. Though she was nervous, Lavender was also excited.

Really excited!

Lavender had always wanted to go to a party, and she wasn't going to let her anxiety ruin the night. But you can't control anxiety, and that was a problem for many who suffered with it.

Perhaps the reason Lavender was subconsciously spinning her ring.

Her thoughts traveled back to Vincent, Lavender tried to talk to him any chance she got. The exact reason for her eyes widening.

She had forgot to text Vincent.

Lavender had started sending 'good morning' and 'goodnight' texts to him after the presentation. She pulled her phone out, it was already past the time she usually told him goodnight.

Lavender hoped that he hadn't fallen asleep yet! Though she didn't realize that Vincent told her goodnight as well, he did not go to bed at that time.

Which was extremely early, nine p.m. sharp, if situations permitted. But it was almost ten, Lavender went to send him a message. Though when she opened her phone, there was already a message.
