Strawberry sunshine

Sweet scent sailing, soaring skies

Simple sugar shine

Each poem // Like a flower

Written carefully // Blooming in due time

Each word // Each petal

Just right // Perfectly formed

Both of these are kind of short and I felt like putting them together made sense. They're both much happier poems, centered around nature and the idea of warmth and happiness. A Field of Summer Strawberries also uses alliteration as a method of making the poem feel cohesive and pleasant to read. Poetry and Flowers relates each line to itself, showing how the two are similar in this one particular way. Reading both across and up and down, it creates a sense of two co-existing poems that feel crisp and delicate.

Thank you for the reads and the person who gave me my first star! Check back next week for another new poem!
