It's been a week since...the kiss happened, and the...incident. I have been seeing a therapist and I must say it's one of the best things I have done for myself in a long while.

When I told Anna and Bianca, they were furious.

But they felt guilty as well and no matter how many times I would tell them that it was not their fault, they wouldn't still apologize for not being there.

Also, Ava has been constantly checking up on me and I appreciate it, but I wish she would just stop. I'm fine, it happened, and now it's over. I hate it when people make a huge fuss over me, I don't need it.

This weekend, Nate and I are going to see venues with my mom, and to be completely honest, I'm not excited. My mother and I have never gotten along, well my parents and I have never gotten along.

They always wanted me to be someone I'm not, and it hurts. Aren't your parents supposed to love you for who you are no matter what?

Also, I still haven't told Nate about the kiss, and I don't think I should. It was a one-time thing and it's never going to happen again.

But you want it to, don't you?

Since when is my conscience for Ava and not against her, oh wait she is always against ME.

Nate and I are getting married in 9 months, and as you know my mother wants to make sure everything is done way before then. I must say at least we only have to do wedding stuff every second weekend, so it helps.

So far, we have looked at 5 venues, and we are on our way to the sixth one. We haven't found the one yet well more like my mom hasn't found the one yet.

Walking into the venue, a middle-aged woman is waiting for us. "Ahh welcome you must be, Maddison?" The woman says with a big smile.

"Yes, and this is my daughter, Melanie, and her fiancé, Nate." My mom says politely.

"It's very nice to meet you, okay so let's get started. This is the in the door, where we usually have dinner and celebration after the ceremony, but if you would like the ceremony inside and dinner outside, we could change it." She says showing us around. It's a big ballroom-like room, with gorgeous lights and floors.

"Then, let me show you outside." When she opens the doors, I immediately fall in love. Outside there is a walkway, I think for the bride, then there is a big tree. I can imagine it with fairy lights, it's gorgeous, I can't explain it in words. It's like being in a fairytale.

"We'll take this one," I say interrupting her and my mom's conversion. Not even caring how she feels about it. This is where I want to get married.

"Excellent, we can talk about the food and decorations later." She says with a huge smile on her face, I don't think she ever stops smiling.

My mom just looks at me shocked. "Yeah, we'll be in touch." My mom says forcing a smile this time. What is her problem?

On our way back to my parent's house my mom was surprised, quiet. That was until we got home. "Melanie what were you thinking, tell that woman we want that venue?!" Just like I suspected, my mom doesn't approve of the venue.

"I want to get married to their mom, that's what I was thinking!" This is not her wedding, it's mine.

"No! I don't like that venue; I wanted an inside wedding. Not a dirty tree wedding with sand and leaves everywhere." My mom is starting to get on my nerves, thank God Nate had to leave early.

"Newsflash Mother! This is not your wedding, it's mine." I have never spoken to my mom like this before, to say I'm shocked is an understatement because my mom looks like she is going to blow.

"You listen to me; you are my daughter and I'm only trying to do what's best for you." Great always the 'what's best for you' card, bullshit.

"No Mother, you are doing what's best for you. What you want, this is my wedding. I fell in love with that venue the moment I saw it and were you like it or not, I am getting married there. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm having lunch with a friend." Before she could answer, I grabbed my car keys and I was out of the house.

Okay so maybe, I have lied about having lunch, but I needed to have an excuse to leave. Driving away not knowing where I'm going, I stop at a very familiar place.

Taking my phone and calling the first person that came to my mind.

*Ring*

Hey, everything okay?

"No not really, are you busy at the moment?" I decided to be honest.

No, you want me you meet you somewhere?

"I'm at the front of the building at the moment, but I could go to The Wendy House if that's better?" I don't know why I even came here in the first place.

No, I'll be there in 20.
