The case

           Selena's family go to the hospital 1 hour after she is gunned down and they get the devastating news that she was dead all devastated. but let's see what happened 

people where reporting hearing two women fight and arguing. but who were these women? none other than Selena and Yolanda. They were fighting about bank statements because apparently the money started to go missing when Abraham checked. Yolanda had forged a signature in her sister's name and stole money and used it to buy a ring she gave Selena saying it a gift from only her.

Selena was done she knew she couldn't trust Yolanda, she trusted her, but Yolanda stole from her and lied to her! after arguing for a bit Selena said the bank statements were not there yelling back and forth but Selena took of the ring that meant their friendship. Selena said she would never take off the ring and it symbolizes their friendship but when she takes off the ring that tells Yolanda you're not only not working for but, but we are no longer friend's. So, Yolanda just cracks and pulls out a gun at Selena.

Selena tries to make a run for it she opened the door, but she shot Selena and it hit her subclavian artery, so Selena ran to the lobby, but she dropped her purse and phone while running Yolanda yelled "Bitch!" but Selena, she barely made it into the lobby because when they found her, she was crawling begging for help 

after that Yolanda got in her car putting the gun to her temple and she had a stand down with the police that lasted 10 hours. They took her in and questioned her and her story was that Selena wasn't trying to fire her no it was the other way around and she had accidentally fired the gun. but that was not her original story her original story was she was trying to kill herself and she was trying to show Selena, but she had the trigger pulled so it shot her.

She was found not guilty but the finally came to the conclusion that she couldn't accidentally pull the trigger she would have to purposely pull it to kill her so on October 23, 1995, Yolanda Saldivar was found guilty for the murder of Selena Quintanilla Perez and was sentenced to life in prison but is up for parole on March 20, 2025, while they were taking her to prison Selena fans were just cheering with joy that she was finally getting what she deserved 

Yolanda still sits in prison till this day serving her time for what she has done and even tho she was caught she still believes that she is innocent 

      It has been 25 years almost 26 that Selena has died but she was famous when she was alive but after she died, she became the legend she is today and we still all love her
