"Y/n! Its time for breakfast"

"Coming mama!" I responded putting my shoes on then went down, only to be greeted by my younger brother Austin and my mother and father

"niña you know its antoñios gift ceremony today we have alot of things to do so you shouldn't laze around" My mother lectured me making me roll my eyes playfully

"I understand mama i'll go ahead and do the chores right away" i said turning around and grabbed an empanada before leaving

I was greeted by the sun as it shined on me making me cover my eyes, there i saw

"Isabela madrigal" i muttered out, unfortunately she heard it and looked my way i covered my mouth in embarrassment i tried to distract myself by decorating certain areas as to not look suspicious, what i didn't know is that a certain girl wearing a purple dress came my way

"I heard my name did you call me?" Isabela said she didn't sound aggressive or rude she was just confused, my heart started palpitating, i gulped before looking at her

"Sorry about that it just came out unconsciously" i laughed nervously trying to play it cool, isabela tilted her head then gave me a small smile that made my heart do backflips

"Well if theres anything you need help with you can come to me anytime" She said making me nod when i couldn't see her figure anymore i grabbed onto the railings trying to catch my breath. I didn't realize i was holding it in

"Shes gonna be the death of me" i sighed as i continued what i was doing

Alas the time has finally come, we went inside the madrigal house and was greeted by camilo shapeshifting into me

"Hola Y/n long time no see" Camilo greeted with a cheery voice i patted his back

"We just saw each other last week don't tell me you missed me that much" He laughed at my joke then proceeded to great the other guests. I've always been close with the madrigals since we see eachother everyday after the gift ceremony of mirabel that went wrong, our bond became stronger.
