"When?" Asked Akshay bhai.
"just 1 hour ago." Answered Dhruv. "the flight might have taken off," he added.
I'm feeling like I don't have any emotions now.
I sat there like a statue. I can hear Varun bhai and the twins yelling about something and Kriti rubbing my back but I am just numb.
After debating with myself for more than 30 mins which includes crying hysterically though, I decided to eat something.
What? Don't blame me. I am more hungry these days and I haven't had anything since morning.
I also forgot about the psycho who is inside the guest room cum store room. But more than him, currently I want some spicy thing to eat so I decided to make Maggie with special masala which is adding chilling powder.
I made it, removed it in a dish and grabbed the fork. I went into the bedroom where janu was sleeping.
Ignoring the yelling and screaming, which was going outside, I started eating.
When I finished my half Maggie, Kriti came in.
"I am hungry" she declared and sat in front of me clearly telling she wanted my Maggie.
I shook my head and took another bite.
But....
"Babes, Please your godchild is hungry, give me that delicious looking Maggie." kriti said, literally drooling.
Sighing, I gave my plate to her and went to make another one. I know she will not be satisfied with that small amount.
After it was done, I poured it in the bowl and went inside to give it to her. She instantly grabbed it and started eating. I shook my head in disbelief and sat beside her.
Now I don't know what my life holds. Dev left me. I'm pregnant and I haven't told this to anyone except kriti and now varun bhai. I don't know what to do.
After 15 mins, kriti was done. She was about to ask something but was stopped by the sudden burst of the door.
"A-aaboli...." Akshay bhai came inside looking all panicked.
"what happened bhai?"
"You should come and see the news. Fast" saying he dragged me and kriti outside.
There it was showing the breaking news of the plane crash.
"what about it?" I ask in confusion.
"it's the same flight in which Dada was going....... To London." Dhruv said, still looking at TV in shock.
"what?" a whisper escaped from my mouth after listening to this.
Flight no. 000057937 crashed due to technical fault. Our sources have said that there might be other reasons behind the crash and death of many people. We are yet to find out. Soon the list of dead passengers will be reached to nearby airports....
