Months had passed and Ni-ki was still sick . His health deteriorated but he's still positive that he'll recover from this . He reassured everyone that he is okay though he clearly isn't .
His dad works hard for his treatment and even sold some of their properties just to pay for Ni-ki's medical needs . Jungwon and the others also helped him in anything that they can offer and thankfully , he finished the cycles of his treatment and was ready for the bone marrow transplant .
Sunoo was so hands on in taking care of him alongside with Ni-ki's dad . He's worried about Ni-ki's state but he didn't show it to him . He knows that if he'll lose hope , Ni-ki will also .
" Love , I'm bald now . Do you still love me ?" Ni-ki suddenly asked while he's staring outside the hospital's window .
Sunoo smiled at him and peeled an orange for Ni-ki .
" Ofcourse , why would I not hmm ?" Sunoo answered and Ni-ki stared at him . Ni-ki is smiling but his eyes feels hopeless .
" Because I'm ugly . I'm so skinny and pale . I can't take you anymore to dates because I always get tired easily . I feel like I'm a burden to you . To all of you " Ni-ki said and stared at Sunoo . Here he goes again . He feels that he's a burden to everyone .
Sunoo set aside the fruit and holds his hand and gently massaged it .
" No , you're not a burden , love . You always says that but you are not . And I don't care what your appearance is . It's just physical .. I love you not because you're handsome or what . I fell in love with you because I saw something in you that I couldn't find in others . I saw that you are special . And I would never fell out of love with you . I love you , I will always do . So cut off with those sentiments that you have in mind . "
Ni-ki just looked at him , his eyes were glistening .. he was touched by Sunoo's statement .
" And don't worry about dates . As long as I'm with you , it's more than a date to me . And also there's so much pollution outside so it's not that good to go out . It isn't safe for you . Besides it's good in here , we could just talk all day . And I'm taking care of you " Sunoo added with that familiar smile on his face .
" Aren't you tired of me ?" Ni-ki asked , with hopes that Sunoo isn't tired of him . He just prays that Sunoo wouldn't get tired of him because if Sunoo would leave him one day , who'll be there for him ? He can't always just depend on Jungwon . He also has his own life . And his dad , the one who's in charge for his expenses . He couldn't afford to add up to his burdens anymore .
" What are you saying , love ? Of course I wouldn't get tired of you . My body would get tired , yes it will , but I could take a rest and be there for you again . "
" Thank you " finally a teardrop fell from his eye that followed by the other tears .
" Oh , you're getting emotional once again . It's my job to take care of you so don't worry , I'm always here . And please , don't cry " Sunoo said while he stood up and transferred to Ni-ki's bed and hugged him . Ni-ki just sniffles in return .
" Don't cry , my love . Trials are only there to make you stronger . So don't give up . We're all here for you . Don't think of anything negative , okay ? " He felt Ni-ki nodded lightly that made him to giggle . He thinks Ni-ki is cute .

" hmm .. I love you too , Sun " Ni-ki replied and leaned closer to him to feel his warmth .
