Lorenzo's POV (The Eldest Brother)

To say the past hour has been surprising would be underplaying it. The twins have been giving shock after shock. I mean, when I did a background check on them and their foster father on the way here, it came out that the foster father is unemployed. How can they afford a house literally two times larger than our house!

Alessio entered the office and sat in the main chair like he owned the place; he probably did, but anyways.

"So I know you guys have a lot of questions, and I will try to answer them truthfully to the best of my abilities, but most of the questions will be answered only when Alessa is here", He spoke as if he is in a business meeting.

Before I could ask anything, Dante voiced out, "Do you remember us?"

He chuckled and replied, "Of course I do, Dante, how could I not? I was not a newborn when I was kidnapped." We all flinched when he said kidnapped.

"But Alessa may not remember you guys as she was in a car accident when she was young and lost her memories", He added. Our moods visibly deflated at that.

"How are you guys able to afford such expensive stuff? The police told us your foster father was unemployed," Dad voiced out the question that was in all of our minds.

Alessio was about to answer us, but a man who seemed to be in his late fifties burst through the door. "What happened?" Alessio asked. "Miss Alessia woke up", He replied. "You do know that if Alessia hears you calling her that, she's going to be very unhappy", Alessio retorted.

"You do also know that she's furious and is going to kill you when you get to her, right?" The man replied.

It surprised me that they were conversing so casually. Alessio turned to us and said, "Well, let's go. It's better not to keep her waiting.

We followed Alessio as he entered an elevator and pushed the button for the 6th floor. Once we headed out of the elevator, we were met with a place that looked like a hospital wing. Why they would need a hospital wing was my question. Alessio went to a door that had Alessia painted on it.

He looked at us and said, "I'll go in first. You guys come inside once I call you." We just nodded as we knew that was for the best.

Alessio's POV

As I entered, I could see that Alessia was fuming. It scared me, to be honest. She was angry, and that was obvious, but why? I don't know. Alessia was sitting on the couch in the room and not the infirmary bed. As soon as she spotted me, she got up and started shouting at me.

"YOU KNEW? OF COURSE, YOU DID! THAT'S WHY YOU WERE NOT SURPRISED! HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME?"

Her jaw was clenched, and you could practically see the anger rolling off her in waves. I knew I may get hit for this, but I walked towards her and cut her off with a hug. We were always able to calm each other by hugging. It was like our safe space. It took time, but she eventually calmed down.

"What are you talking about?" I calmly asked her.

"You knew about our family, didn't you," she said

"You already know that answer to that." I sighed and answered

"Why didn't you tell me about them?" she asked

"You lost all your memories for the first few years of your life, not just the part about our family but also the worst years of our time with the Russians. If I told you, that meant a chance of your memories coming back. I couldn't do that to you. Not telling you about our biological family is a sacrifice I'm willing to make." I stated

"Well, seems like I'm going to suffer with you now." She chuckled

I pulled out of the hug and furrowed my eyebrows at her. Even though I had a hint of what she meant, I still asked, "What do you mean?"

"I got my memories back!" She exclaimed in a fake cheery voice.

Before I could say anything, a knock was heard.

"Can we come in?" Lorenzo asked

"There is something important that has come up", Dante added
