The Rain and his pain

Days went by as the three of them were  living together happily . There were so many time lucas and athy got into fight but they will just apologise and reconcile after some time. They never fought in front of ari .when they fought they usually focus on work and then eventually reconcile. It  was a small fight like any other day. Athy slams the room door and started working. The last thing she saw  was lucas sitting on the sofa facepalmed. She dwelled in work that she lost track of time it's already night now

" God.!! how long am I sitting in the same place? " her body become stiff. She stood up  stretching her body and opened the window

"what..?!! it's already night?! I should ask how ari is doing he really loves to play with them huh?"

She mumbled. Arius was visiting max and stephen frequently nowadays to play with them . They two live in the same house. He sometimes sleep there and they will drop him home next morning. After checking up on ari she opened the door to check what her big baby is doing. Her anger disappeared along with time. when she opened the door lucas was not there. usually he will either sleep on his office room or working at this time but he was not in The house. She tried calling him but he was not answering . She tried several times but no reply

" is he that mad at me to cut my calls?!!   Our fight was not even that big. Geez he is so childish sometimes" she sneered and and settled on the sofa.

" but he looked so moody today  for some reason, in fact he was the one who started the fight.. what's wrong with him today?  When she is about to call him again lucas's uncle called her

" . Hello Uncle how are you? "

" oh I am fine dear, how are you and ari?"

" hmm all are fine uncle "

" athy dear what is lucas doing right now? "

" hmm... That.. He was moody from the morning now he is not here "

" hmm I know "

" you know he will be not in home?!! "

" hmm.. Actually I called you to tell something important but I guess I am late.. Athy today is lucas 's mom' s death anniversary. He would have been  at his mom's cemetery by  now. "

" what....?!! "

athy was so shocked that words didn't came out of her mouth. she felt guilty for  fighting  with him when he was upset at his mom's memorial day. tears pooled in her eyes

" do you want the address? " uncle asked understanding her silence

" yes please " she said her voice trembling.

She asked max and stephen to take care of ari. they were more than happy to play with him. She was about to go out and rain started pouring.

ari was now doing better in rain due to the necklace athy gave him. So she  was a bit relieved. she hurried to see lucas. When she reached the cemetery which was in the private villa of them near a mountain range its already late night. Her heart ached at the sight of lucas sitting on the ground  drenching in the  rain near a tomb.

She silently stood  in front of  him holding   umbrella  . Lucas  realised the  rain stopped pouring at him and  opened his eyes to see a pair of legs. he looked up to see athy looking  at him with worried  face. He stood up and their eyes met. He was fully drenched in rain his white shirt is transparent from rain revealing his body . his hair strands covered his forehead and  half of his eyes dripping water drops.

  He looked at her with a mournful face. Tears dribbling  down his face mixing  with rain droplets dripping  from his hair. Athy didn't said anything and  wiped his tears with her hand with a fretful face.
