Chapter 20 - A Good Night's Sleep

He is an ordinary person.

Bai Fanlu used a spiritual exploration for a long while, which was such a direct way of judging, so it should be true.

Bai Fanlu slowly let go of Xiao Liu's wrist, wondering whether he should feel glad or disappointed.

In fact, when Bai Fanlu was attacked by the Flower-picking Thief the night before and found out  that his body was abnormal, his first reaction was to look at Xiao Liu. He was apprehensive about him, and thinking that he was the one who was plotting against him.

Although it was later proved that it was not, he always had a strange suspicion in his heart about Xiao Liu's identity.

In the process of getting along with him, Xiao Liu made Bai Fanlu want to trust him, and he could never bear to be cruel towards him, maybe because of his looks and name?

Sometimes Bai Fanlu couldn't understand himself.

But after all, he had doubted the other party more than once, and he had completely confirmed his identity at this moment. Looking at the young boy's clear and bright eyes, Bai Fanlu felt a little bit guilty.

He smiled slightly, "It's okay."

"That's good." Xiao Liu grinned, showing white teeth.

It is said that a person with a simpler disposition will fall asleep faster. The teenager did fall asleep next to him in a short while, with his head resting on his arm, his face looked harmless, and his eyebrows stretched.

Bai Fanlu envied his good sleep, even though he knew he would not fall asleep, he still lay down on the spot.

In the early spring, the lawn was thin, and Bai Fanlu repeatedly tossed and turned, but still couldn't find a comfortable place. He could only lie down on his side and just close his eyes and calm his mind.

Sui Sui... A strange noise came from somewhere. Bai Fanlu opened his eyes, and a small white shadow in the bushes over there was squeaking up and down. Was it Zhizhi?

The little monkey protruded a tail first from the bushes, and then half of its red ass appeared. It seemed to be dragging something heavy and hauling it out.

At night, the line of sight was not very clear. Bai Fanlu got up and approached only to find that it turned out that it was dragging a large bunch of shrub branches, tied with vines, and it was as thick and long as an adult sturdy man. You can imagine how heavy it is.

Zhizhi heard footsteps and looked back at Bai Fanlu, who returned his gaze. The creature's big, black eyes were embedded like marbles in his thin, round head. Zhizhi seemed so pitiful, like it was about to voice its grievances.
