the young girls heart jumped as the facetime notification appeared on her screen. not even a full day after first texting and the two were already facetiming. charlotte tried to calm her nerves, remembering that they shared friends and could easily spend most of their time talking about minecraft.
besides, its not like she had a crush on him or anything, she just found him attractive. yet if that was true, then why did it feel like her heart was going to beat out of her chest?
"hi love, how are you?" the british boy said with a smile slowly stretching across his face. he could tell that charlotte was nervous and wanted nothing more than to make her feel at peace. the pet name, love, just so casually slipping out made her cheeks turn the colour of roses. something that louis took note of.
"hi louis, i'm doing fine, how are you?" she squeaked out after clearing her throat. the girl wanted nothing more than to come across as confident. not like a shy little girl who was talking with a boy for the first time, although, that was how she was feeling.
"i'm better now that im talking to you," charlotte's heart fluttered at his words yet her brain reminded her that he was just a flirt and nothing more. "i invited you to my world, but be warned i'm not the best at this. " "don't worry, i'm not either, millie always gets mad because i just run around killing things." louis let out a small laugh at her wondering how someone so sweet could be just a ruthless killer.
