Smith's Point Park was not as monster free as the previous portion of Fire Island but as soon as we found a place to sit and eat, especially Solveig, the monsters dispersed leaving us with nothing to fight off. There was some food left over here as well but soon, food will become scarce on the barrier island. After this, we definitely had to make our way further east where Fire Island gets closer to Long Island. That way, food and water would not become an issue. We also have three women in the early stages of pregnancy in our group.

See! Autumn started, after we ate. That proves you are a Nephilim! Only a Nephilim, regardless of their heritage and power set, could repel these monsters as effortlessly as you could!

And being part Norse Light Elf definitely helps as well! Cali added.

"How could you both be so sure of what I am?" Solveig lied. I could feel her grabbing onto Moriko's hand under the table.

Well... Autumn elaborated. Since I first met you up in Salem... I could always tell that there was definitely something special about you. You said it yourself that the monsters rarely bothered you until you joined our group. And even then, they more or less left us alone. Even if they have been slowly getting more aggressive and daring. Autumn looked around the rest of Smith's Point. These monsters did not get the memo. They are hiding but waiting for an opportunity... or orders.

We all froze up on her last statement.

Autumn waved her hands. Nevermind that for now. Let's just not linger here longer than we need to. Let's get back on topic. Autumn stared at Solveig. Firestarter... or should I say...

Solveig's façade lowered a bit. "I... I went by many names through the centuries... but the name I used the most, the one you might be most familiar with is... Solveig... " She exhaled the breath she was holding. "I haven't used that name in a long while..." Autumn and Moriko had some recognition on their faces.

Cali was confused but spoke up first. I have not heard of that name. Us aquatic shifters rarely dabble in surface stories... well... I can't say rarely because my family had been nearly everywhere and interacted with other surface beings. In particular, the Old Norse Beings and the Vikings when they were coming over here, to North America. Which is how I know about Light Elves and how I know that that name sounds Norse, or at least Nordic or Scandinavian.

Firestarter... Autumn shook her head. I mean Solveig... Is there something that you are not telling us?

"Yes?" Solveig felt defeated. "I have been lying this whole time. I have been lying so much my whole life, that I never know when to stop lying. The same goes for keeping secrets... If only I was not so afraid..." She looked at me and patted her belly. "Now, I am pregnant from one of..." She swallowed the word. "One of the rapists..."

"WHAT!?!" Autumn shouted, causing Solveig to flinch. What do you mean you are pregnant?!? Autumn went over to place her hands on Solveig's belly. Autumn was using a lot of concentration, effort, and divine energy on Solveig's stomach.

"Sorry..." Solveig apologized. "I let fear dictate my actions... again... " Solveig looked at me again. Out of everything that happened, not being with me that night would be her greatest regret. Then I felt her still lingering feeling of wanting to know who the father is. "Autumn... do you- can you tell me who the father is?"

Autumn was still pulling power from Heaven and her hands glowed a bright white light. Autumn pushed a bit firmer into her stomach. I could get into a lot of trouble doing this. Autumn let us all know. If God finds out... Lets just say that, since He is missing, He most likely never will... unless the other angels tell him.
