Sharon stared at her computer screen waiting for her characters to speak to her, but they were being stubborn little sh💩ts.
So, instead she once again read the carefully saved letter. The envelope was so fragile she feared looking at it wrong would let fall to dust. "Grandma Sharon why did you save this letter?"
Giving up she Googled Sargent James Barnes of the 107th.Sharon let out a low whistle, "Well hello handsome." She read his bio and was shocked to find a current address; before she could explain it she was writing him a letter.
Dear Sir,
I first want to say that it feels off and odd to call you sir or Mr. Barnes. If you don't mind I'll call you James. Not the best way to introduce myself, but it's best to get the weird out of the way. My name is Sharon Davis. I found a letter you wrote to my grandmother Sharon Davis........

FLASHBACK1937
Damn it Stevie! You are getting blood all over Aunt Parker's carpet!" Sharon cussed as Bucky lead his best friend Steve Rogers into Sharon's aunt's house.
"Sorry Sharon." Steve mumbled.
Sharon sighed, "You're lucky a little blood doesn't make me squeamish." She set about tending his cuts as Bucky leaned against the wall, "And you James Buchanan Barnes don't you think you're getting out of a tongue lashing! You're supposed to talk him out of fighting!"
Bucky winced at his full name being called, "Aw come one Shar you know how stubborn he is."
Sharon stood toe to toe with him, "I swear when God was mixin' you two dumdums he was out his damn mind."
Bucky grinned, "That's why he made you. To keep us in line."
Present day
Bucky read the last part again:
I would really like to meet up and chat. You can call or write or email if you feel froggy. [Haha sorry not sure why that made me laugh].
I look forward to hearing from you
