Rosemary stares out the plane window, looking at the approaching city down below.
It was very different from what she's used to. Yet still the same at the same. She had decided to use Muggle methods of transportation. Making it harder for others to track her. The time change was going to take its toll on her, seeing how she left in the early morning and it was afternoon here.
She'd sent Kreacher ahead and asked him to prepare her new home as best as he could. Seeing how she needed to ward and protect it, maybe update any wards that were present as well as any other charms and add some new ones.
They finally land and she waits for the rest of the passengers to get off, before getting up and leaving, purse in hand.
She followed the crowd towards the exit and hailed a taxi. "Woolworth Building, please."
"Of course. You're a Brit aren't you?"
"I am."
"Well, welcome to The Big Apple; New York City. Are you here on business or touring?"
"I've recently acquired a property here, and I want to live in it. Start a new chapter in my life."
"Trouble back home?"
"You could say that. I won't be returning, until things have calmed down or are dealt with."
"But...if these problems affect you as well; why leave and not stay to help solve them?"
"Because I've already given them more than enough reasons, explanations, options, ideas and more. Yet, they remain stuck in their ways. Causing me grief and being accused of the problems that have been present long before I was around."
"Ah, political and familial problems. I do hope your grief doesn't last much longer."
Rosemary didn't answer, signaling the end of the conversation. Thankfully, the driver didn't push for more and the rest of the ride was in silence.

Once at her destination, Rosemary pays the taxi driver and enters the Woolworth Building. She is amazed by how the inside is. Heading towards the registration floor, she gets her paperwork ready and leaves.
She looks at her folder, verifying everything was there and in order. Visa, credentials, passport, Muggle birth certificate, her OWL'S results as well as the NEWT'S she had taken and some Muggle classes with the schedule and where to go.
"Now, to head to my new home. I think I'll take a walk. It's not that far from...here...what in Merlin's name?"
Rosemary stops walking, as her eyes land on the strangest, tallest building she's ever seen. That wasn't what caught her attention though. Rather, the castle at the very top of it.
"What kind of person builds, or sticks a castle on top of a building?" She asks to herself out loud, not expecting a response.
"I thought the same thing, when I first saw it." A female voice says beside her. Rosemary turns and sees a woman with a red jacket of sorts, blue jeans, black shoes, tan skin and blue hair. Which looked to be her natural hair color.
"Who owns that building?" Rosemary asks, turning to the building again.
"You must be new to the city, since you've asked that."
"I am new to this city. So no. I don't know who owns that building."
"Right, the accent. Well, that building is own by one David Xanatos." She says with venom in her voice.
