"Why the fuck are we out in the woods at midnight?" Evan asked.

We started walking through here about fifteen minutes ago. It was my idea to come out here.

Ever since I was a teenager, I loved going out and exploring abandoned buildings. And that's what I'm looking for tonight.

"I heard there was an abandoned building somewhere in these woods." I answer his question.

"Okay, great. Let's come back tomorrow during the sunlight. You know, when axe murder's aren't out and I can see where I'm going."

I knew Evan would be paranoid coming out here. That's why I lied and said we were driving around.

"Why are you acting so paranoid for?" Wesley laughed.

For some reason, the two guys are in the very back while I lead.

"I don't know man, probably because I smoked two fat ass blunts before coming here." That doesn't even surprise me.

He was the stoner and comedian of the group. "Two? Evan, what the fuck?" Serena laughed.

Serena was my age and my best friend. Evan and Wesley are a couple years older than us. Serena introduced me to them in high school.

Evan's not originally from here. He was born in Staten Island, but moved to Las Vegas when he was a freshman in high school.

Serena and I were in middle school when he moved here.

But we moved out of Las Vegas about a year ago and now we live in Los Angeles.

"All I know is this is creepy as fuck." Evan defended himself.

"I'm sober and I'll have to agree." Wesley agreed. Wesley and Evan are huge stoners.

Serena smokes every once in a while but not like them.

I don't smoke weed and they don't push me at all to do it.

I do vape but that's about it. "Evan, can you shut up?" I ask him. I could hear him sigh.

As we walked, I could see something in the distance. About a minute later, we were at a building.

And it was huge. "No fucking way. You know if this is a horror movie, I'll die first." Evan stated.

Serena turned to him to give him a dirty look. "You three coming in?" I ask shining my flashlight towards them.

Wesley looked at me like I was crazy. "You want us to go in there? At this time of night?" He asked pointing towards it.

I nodded my head. "Well, duh." Evan shook his head while wetting his lips.

"I'm already tripping balls out here. And I don't need to trip balls in there." Evan denied. I looked at Wesley.

He also shook his head. "Nope. I'll be lookout." Serena shook her head while walking up to the porch.

"Have fun being pussies." We both walked inside and moved our flashlights around.

This place was huge. I heard it was an old hospital that got shut down.

"When your sister finds out what we're doing." Serena laughed. My sister is a couple years older than us.

She's about the same age as Evan and Wesley so they all graduated together.

We were total opposites. She was a goody two shoes and a kiss ass to almost every single one of the teachers.

I was more laid back and down to do just about anything. So if she figured out we were here, she would lose her shit.
