“Where’s Buford?” Y/n, Buford’s wife asked Stubble. “Buford’s outside, taking care of his horse, ma’am.” Stubble replied as Y/n got up from where she was sitting. “Alright. Can y’all go out? Get some food?” Y/n asked. “Yes ma’am.” The boys replied as she walked out of the house and towards the stalls where they kept their horses. “My dear, what’s wrong? You only take care of your horse if something’s bothering you.” Y/n said as she found Buford. “That no good gutter trash blacksmith owes me 80 bucks.” Buford replied. “What happened then?” Y/n asked. “My horse threw his shoe, made me fall off and busted a bottle of Red Eye.” Buford replied. Y/n grabbed the brush from his hand and made him look at her. “It can happen.” Y/n said. “He owes me money, angel. He’s gonna pay for it. One way or another, I’ll get the money.” Buford said as he walked his horse out of its stall. “Where are you going, my dear?” “Look for him.” Buford replied.
“Wait, let me tag along.” Y/n said as she grabbed her horse and got on, following Buford as they rode towards the town, soon followed by Buford’s gang. “I’m gonna ride around for a bit, my dear. I’ll come back in a little bit.” Y/n said. “Alright, angel. Be careful.” Buford said. “I’m always careful.” Y/n replied, before she rode away from the saloon. A couple of minutes have left and Y/n rode back to the saloon, realising that her husband hadn’t gone in yet. “Were you waiting for me to go in?” Y/n asked as she got off her horse and looked at Buford. “No, angel, we went to look in the other saloon first. That blacksmith wasn’t there.” Buford said as he looked at her, before they walked into the saloon. “Mrs Tannen, your horse’s going wild outside.” Someone said to Y/n. She walked out of the saloon and grabbed the handle. “Wow, there.” Y/n said, making the horse calm down. “Easy, boy.” Y/n said as she gave the horse a little stroke over its mane.
“I’m sorry Mrs.” A young man said. “What happened?” Y/n asked. “I think I accidentally scared your horse. I’m really sorry.” “It’s alright. Be careful next time. Don’t want you to get kicked.” Y/n said, before she walked back in the saloon. “Everything alright, angel?” Buford asked. “Yes.” Y/n replied. “That blacksmith ain’t here either. Let’s go back home and try again tomorrow.” Buford said as they walked out of the saloon and got on their horses. Y/n and Buford rode to their house, before walking to the stalls. “We’ll find him tomorrow. I’m sure of it, my dear.” Y/n said as they walked into the house. “I know, angel.” Buford said as Y/n went into their room, to take off the many layers of her dress. “Do you still love me, angel?” Buford asked. “What? Why do you ask?” Y/n asked as she walked out of the room, wearing his shirt. “I sometimes get this feeling that you don’t love me anymore.” Buford said she walked up to him.
“Where does that come from? Of course I love you. I will always love you.” Y/n replied. “Is that because of the fight we had last week?” Y/n asked. “Kinda.” “I can tell you that I still love every single thing about you, my dear. I love how strong and handsome you are. I love you for who you are.” Y/n said as she made him look at her. “Thank you, angel. That makes me a whole lot better.” Buford said before he placed his lips on hers. “I love you very much, my dear.” Y/n said as she looked at him after they pulled away. “I love you too, my angel.” Buford said. The day passed and Y/n woke up, Buford’s arm around her waist as he was still asleep. She took his arm and placed it down beside him, before getting out of the bed, since there was a knock on their door. “Better put on some clothes, angel.” Buford said as he woke up. Y/n looked down and realised that she was naked. “Who’s knocking at our door so early?” Y/n asked.
“Must be the others. You know they are.” Buford replied as he too got out of the bed and gave her her dressing gown. “Thanks, my dear.” Y/n said as she pulled it on and walked to the front door. “Good morning, Ma’am.” The boys said. “Why so early?” Y/n asked. “We’re sorry to disturb you and Buford while you were, uh, busy.” Stubble said as he looked at her. “We weren’t busy. We just woke up.” Y/n replied. “What do y’all want?” Buford asked as he walked to the door, wearing his shirt and slacks. “We heard last night where the blacksmith might be hiding.” Buck said.
“Yeah? Can't you wait?” Y/n asked. “Why, my angel?” Buford asked. “I want to have breakfast with you. Alone.” Y/n said. “Better listen to her, Buford.” Ceegar said. “Hey. What my angel wants, my angel gets. Go and saddle up our horses.” Buford ordered. “Yes Buford.” “Thank you, my dear.” Y/n said as she made some eggs for her and her husband. “You tagging along today, my angel?” Buford asked as Y/n gave her some food. “Of course, my dear.” Y/n replied. “What did I ever do to deserve you?” Buford asked as he grabbed her waist while sitting down and looked up at her in his arms. “I love you, my angel. And your beautiful body.” Buford said as he let his hand roam under her dressing gown. “Ah ah. Hands to yourself, Tannen.” Y/n said as she slapped his hand playfully. “Oh, the things you do to me.” Buford said as he looked at her while she sat down, before they ate breakfast. Once they had breakfast, Y/n got ready and followed Buford out once he was ready.
