Chapter 8

I've been in Neverland for almost a month, and I still haven't completed my mission. At the same time, I don't understand the meaning, and I don't know what to find. The Council told me, that I would find something that made me suffer in the past. But what is this joke?!

Something that made me suffer in the past. A lot of things made me suffer in the past! But anyway, I'll see about that later.

At the moment, I'm walking in the forest with Winter. I wanted to be with her for a while, before she goes hunting.

We keep walking, and she starts running. I tell her to be careful, and I end up not seeing her. I then walk to the beach.

"Are you all alone?" said a voice behind my back.

I turn to the source, but don't see anyone. I frown, but don't count with it. So I go on my way.

"A girl like you shouldn't be left alone." Said the voice again.

I still turn around, but still don't see anyone. However, it doesn't make me laugh!

"Who's there?" said I, looking around.

"I am many things... A mind, a thought..." Said she again.

I still look around me, and end up turning my head towards the sky. I then see a sort of dark flying thing. She approaches me with her piercing white eyes.

"But I am above all a shadow." Says the thing in front of me.

I look up and down at her.

"Who are you?" asked I, frowning.

"Peter Pan's shadow, he and I are connected." Said she as she approached me a little more.

"I see and why do you come to me?"

"I came to warn you. Warn you about Peter."

I can laugh, smiling silly.

"Are you kidding? Are you warning me about Peter? The person whose shadow you are? That's nonsense!" I say with a slight laugh.

"Believe me, he's a lot worse than you think. These past acts are proof of that." She says seriously.

"I don't care. And why are you telling me this?"

"This is a warning."

"Yes. Well, I don't care."

On this, I continue on my way, not looking at him.

"I would have warned you." Heard I behind me.

I don't pay attention, and walk towards the beach.

When I arrive, I see someone from behind. I frown and move forward a little more. I end up knowing who it is.

"What are you doing here, Peter?" I asked calmly.

He turns to me.

"It's been a long time since we've spoken." Said he, lowering his head slightly.

"Yeah." I say by pinching my lips.

"Look, I want to apologize for what I said, I didn't mean i..."

"Yes, but you said it!"

"I didn't mean it, it just came out and..."

"Oh yes?! So for you, calling me a "monster" is a word out there all by yourself?! Is that it?"

He opens his mouth to say something, but then closes it.

"You know? The last people who treated me this way were my parents! And I could understand their reaction! But coming from you, it hurts me!" I say by not letting go of him.
