Epoch is a cross between a pony and a bat. He is trans and has a twin sister named Gloomy.
Epoch has a condition where his eyes take in more light than a human, making regular light seem flashing and very bright.
Due to this, Epoch only goes out at night because coming out in daylight is painful for him. If he does go out (which is rare), he wears strong sunglasses.
Epoch is also in love with a snowman that he found. He visits Snowman every night and on rare occasions, at late noon.
