The Four Gardens Of Love - Muse

Out of the ashes of soil,

A grieving heart

And wilful mind,

Arose a palatial symbol of love.

A tomb,

Fit for a wife and queen-empress...

Four gardens equally symbolic of that love,

Tenderly partitioned and ordered

With avenues of trees, fountains

And reflecting pool,

Would reside and accompany it with meticulous adoration.

Complementing both symmetry and beauty...

Of tomb and

Of queen-empress...

Filled with passion and sentiment,

Of colour,

Ornament and

Of water...

All respectfully silent

And peaceful

Along side Yamuna,

Twin of Ganga...

All

Tenderly loved for eternity...
