It's been weeks since Lalisa took a step out of the bedroom.

There was more surveillance around the castle, and Jungkook guarded her every move on a daily basis.

He would not give her even the slightest chance to escape.

It didn't take long for Lalisa's will to be broken by this. There was no way she could find a way out of this situation.

The days passed in such a stifling manner.

Late in the afternoon, Lalisa sat huddled in her bed.

The look in her eyes was one of resignation.

A while later, she heard the sound of someone opening the door. Lalisa closed her eyes from the start and put her head down.

Because there was only one person who could come in this room.

"Lalisa."

With a muffled voice, steps approached. While Lalisa was silent with her head buried in her knees, one side of the bed caved in.

Jungkook, sitting beside her, reached out and touched her shoulder. Still Lalisa did not look up.

Jungkook kept her still and looked around the bedroom. The meal he had brought her a few hours ago was left untouched.

Some books and neatly folded clothes on the table were also untouched.

Jungkook, his brow narrowed gently, opened his mouth.

"I don't know about everything else, but eat."

"..."

"Will you listen to me if I force you then?"

Jungkook continued to speak to Lalisa, who gave no answer.

Hiding his frustration, he eventually grabbed Lalisa's cheek and made her look at him.

It was only then that Lalisa's pale face finally turned to him, but she did not meet his gaze.

Jungkook stared at her long lashes, then reached out to her and forcibly lifted her up. He stepped over to the table and sat Lalisa down.

He then took the tray, which was completely cold, and ordered the attendant to bring him a new one.

While Jungkook was at the door, Lalisa immediately got up and went back to bed.

"Lalisa."

When Jungkook grabbed her hand, Lalisa shook him off with a feeble effort. The eyes looking back at him were empty. While Jungkook looked far away for a moment at the sight, the attendant brought a new meal in.

"Eat."

Jungkook, who had finally regained his senses, once again led Lalisa to sit in front of the table.

Lalisa quickly turned her head to the side, and he gently grabbed her frail chin and turned her to him.

He picked up a spoonful of food and held it out to her mouth. When Lalisa didn't open her mouth, Jungkook recited in a quiet voice.

"If you want to do this long all day, do so."

"..."

It was only then that Lalisa, who had finally turned her gaze to look at him, moved her lips for the first time.

"I'll eat on my own."

Jungkook's expression softened faintly.

He gave Lalisa the silverware and held hand directly over the dishes before finally sitting down on the other side of her.
