It's not because he's weak
or a man
It's not because he probably liked it
or should feel grateful
It's not because he's masculine so it can't really happen to him
It's not because it's every man's dream
or he can't not want it
It's not because he needed it
or liked it
or he should've liked it
or he shouldn't be ashamed to let that happen
NO.
It's because we were taught that it can't happen to a man
We were taught that men have to be strong and sexually dominant
We were taught that men should need sex, want sex, will have sex with whoever and whenever no matter what
We were taught that men can't be victims of Sexual Assault, in many places it is legally impossible
We were taught that if it does happen to a man he should feel grateful, he should be so lucky
We were taught that it's his fault, how could it not be
We were taught that it only happens to weak men, lucky men,an excuse of a man, you're lying if you say you didn't like it men
We were taught patriarchal gender norms that directly oppress and hurt feminine people but indirectly, silently, undoubtedly hurt so many men
We were not taught that men can be victims too.
