⚠️ VIOLENCE ⚠️

"Yelena, can you take care of Anthony while I go on the mission with Pietro?" I asked her.

"Of course sweetheart." She said, Anthony was three months old now and he was very happy, he barely cried and got along very will with the rest of the Avengers.

"Ok, well, I'll see you in a couple hours." I told her, kissing her on the cheek multiple times and hugging her before I left. "I love you."

"I love you too." She whispered, making me blush. She smiled and watched me as I left the room.

"Are you ready to go Pietro?" I asked him, he nodded and we walked out the door, we decided to take a car this time, it would be less obvious to leave in a car than in a lingering flash of silver light.

"Don't get hurt." He warned me. "You have a son now."

"I'm aware of that." I said, he laughed as he drove off.

"So how's the parent life treating you?" He asked me, still smiling.

"Very well." I said, smiling back. "I love him so much." He put the car into autopilot and then turned to talk to me.

"Well I'm glad to hear that." He said.

"I'm glad that he's going to be able to grow up with his uncle Pietro." I said in my best Sokovian accent.

"Me too." He said, smiling widely. "How much longer until we get there?" He asked me.

"Ten minutes." I told him.

Ten minutes later, the car was parked in front of a skyscraper and Pietro had carried both of us to the top of the skyscraper. "Watch out for him, ok?" He told me.

"Yeah, I will." He said. "I literally don't see him." I said. "I'll go down the ladder and try to see if he's at the bottom." We did our secret handshake and I started climbing down the ladder.

"Hey there." Someone said from below me, I almost fell off the ladder because of how scared I was. "Don't fall." He warned me. "I won't catch you."

"Yeah I kind of figured that." I said to him, climbing back up the ladder, I heard him following me and I unsheathed one of my swords. "Where the fuck is the other one?" I whispered to myself. "Pietro, he's somewhere on the roof." I warned him.

"Ok, I'm watching out." He said, I nodded and held my sword at my side. "Do you know if he's actually up here?" He asked.

"Well it's dark, and I heard him climbing up the ladder, so yes I know he's up here. We probably just didn't see him." I said.

"Ok." He sped over to me. "Where is your other sword?" He asked me.

"I don't know." I admitted.

"That's not good." He said.

"Yeah I know that." I said.

"I'm right here." I heard the man say, we both turned around and there he was, standing behind us with my other sword. "So, I know what you came here for, and I'm willing to give it to you." He said.

"Then why did you take my sword?" I asked him, taking a step forward and gripping my sword tighter. He threw the USB port we were supposed to retrieve. I snatched it with my hand and put it in my pocket.

"There's no need for violence." He told me.

"Well I mean, you're a part of Hydra." I told him. "You tortured me, and raped me. You're the reason Peter is dead, and the reason Tony is dead." I said in a low voice.

"Yeah that's true. I guess I'll also be the reason he's dead." He quickly stabbed Pietro through the stomach with the sword, Pietro lost his balance and fell off the roof.

"Pietro!" I screamed, he didn't answer, I heard his body hit the ground with a dull thud. "Im going to kill you!" I yelled.

"I'd like to see you try." He growled, I smirked and held my sword out, so twirled it around with my fingers, it delicately sliced his leg and I saw him wince.

"You're dead." I said, I screamed as he slashed my arm with the sword, I felt warm blood pooling from the cut. I retaliated by cutting his arm off with a single swift motion. He cried out in pain and dropped the sword. I laughed at his dead body and collected the swords. "Fuck you." I whispered. I started climbing down the ladder, I jumped off when there were only a few steps left and rushed over to Pietro's body, I knew he would be dead, but I wanted to check anyways. I checked his pulse, there was no heartbeat. I rested my head on his chest and grabbed his hand, squeezing it tightly and letting out a painful cry.

Before the grief set in I decided to shut it out, not for long, just enough to delay it. I pulled him onto my back and wiped away my tears. "I'll get you home buddy." I hauled him into the car and kissed his cold forehead. "Goodbye."
