"I can't believe it, Kody."

"Neither can I," I chuckled.

"Idiot, this is no time to be laughing." Jonas scolded me and I smiled.

"You're right Jonas. I decided to spend the rest of my time alive doing things I've always wanted to do." I said as I pulled back from his embrace and turned around so I was now facing his handsome face.

"Things like what?" He questioned.

"Things like this..." I whispered as I leaned in to kiss him.

I saw his forest green eyes widened before he closed them. I, too, closed my eyes.

Suddenly, he pushed me down onto the bed and deepened the kiss.

"Jonas...," I moaned out.

"Fuck." Jonas replied as he pulled back from me.

"What's wrong?"

"I can't. I can't do this. You're dying for fucks sake!" Jonas shouted as tears started to fall from his face.

I frowned and said, "Hey, don't cry."

I wiped his tears and raised my hands up to cup his face.

"Even though I'm dead, I will always be there with you." I said as I searched his eyes.

He nodded through his tears.

"If you die, then I will go too. I fucking love you Kody. I've been wanting to confess since that day I met you but I was too scared."

I raised an eyebrow, "When I was 7 and you were 10?"

"Yeah."

I was speechless before I laughed.

"What happened?"

"Me too."

Jonas froze after I said that before hugging me again.

"Time seems to go by so fast." He muttered and I hummed in response.

"Indeed. But hey, one of my wishes before I died was to confess to you."

He ruffled my hair.

"You already did. So what else are you trying to do before we die?"

I smiled when he said we. Man, Jonas was one crazy dude.

We were about to die like Romeo and Juliet.

I knew I couldn't talk himself out of killing himself because knowing Jonas, once he made up his mind, there was no going back.
