*Shawn's pov*
I need to tell Maddie that I like her. I told her before but I need to say it again, I think I love her. I know, I know she's with Hayes but I don't know, she makes me feel a spark. I just need to get my mind off of her, maybe I'll invite Chris and Crawford over to hang out.

S-hey bro
C-hey what's up
S-nothin much do you guys want to hangout today.
C-yeah sure, be there in 10min

I hang up and Maddie walks in the door, god damn, this girl is everywhere.
"Hey Shawn"
"Hey can we talk?"
"Sure"
"You know how I've liked you for a while and its hard to see you with Hayes. I was wondering if I could kiss you just one time."
"Um....you know I can't do that"
I started to lean in, despite her saying no.
*Maddie's pov*
Shawn pulled and saw Hayes at the door crying, then he ran in and screamed,"WHY ARE YOU BREAKING ME, I GIVE YOU ALL OF ME AND YOU DO THIS! AND SHAWN IT WAS PROBABLY YOUR FAULT!! IM NOT WRONG!!"
"Hayes I love you with all my heart, mind, and soul, he kissed me."
"But from what I saw obviously you liked it. Have you ever liked him?"
I looked down,"Before met you guys, yes"
"Well I guess since I'm the bestest boyfriend and the greatest friend, I'll forgive you guys but Maddie I think we need a break from each other."
"Okay if that's what you want, just know that I love you so much, can I have a hug?"
"Of course, I love Maddie hugs!"
We hugged then I went to my room to just cry.
*Hayes's pov*
I think this will be good for us, to have a break, a serious one. I need to hang out with the guys, to not worry about girls looking at me and being worried that Maddie will be jealous. I'm sure she agrees. I go to pass her room to check on her and I hear crying. I slowly open the door and see Maddie crying on her bed.
"Hey what's wrong"
"Oh it's just my uncle, he is having a hard time."
"Are you sure it's just that"
"Yeah"
*Maddie's pov*
I hate lying to him but I also hate showing my feelings. I need to do something, maybe me and Shawn can get ice cream.
"Hey Shawn want to get ice cream?"
"Yeah sure, tomorrow at 10am?"
"Yeah see you later!"
I go to Liz's room, again crying. She runs to me and I tell her everything.
"No offense but you are so dumb sometimes."
"I know, I just want him back."
"Do you want to go play the piano and sing to let it out, ill play and you sing?"
"Yeah I have a song in mind."
We go down to the piano and I tell her what to play, then I start to sing.

I stop singing and I just burst out crying and basically screaming,"LIZ I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, I FEEL SO BROKE INSIDE IT HURTS SO MUCH."
*Hayes's pov*
I hear beautiful singing so I go find it, its Maddie, I stay to hear it all. At the end I was about to leave but I heard her screaming stuff, I just want to hold her, but I can't, we broke up. I guess you could say that sometimes she is my best mistake.
