The story starts with kartik waking up and finding naira in front of the mirror drying her hair as soon as he looks at her a 'haaye' escapes his mouth making naira blush ;
"aaj kya is bechare ashique ko maar dene ka irada hai kya!",saidkartik back hugging her and nuzzling his nose into her neck;
"kartik chodo mujhe koi aajayega",said naira
"aise kaise koi aajayega , personal room hai mera personal biwi hai",said kartik
"yeh apne cheesy dialogues maar ne band karo and mujhe jaane do",said naira;
while kartik being kartik doesnt agree to leave her and moves towards her lips but luv and kush enter the room while kaira drifts apart and they took their bhabhi and went downstairs;
"mere pyaar ke dushman!",said kartik sighning;
a while later we can see kartik thinking to suprise naira in the night. he goes to the storeroom to find things from which he can decorate their room where as in the kitchen naira was making kachori for kartik and thinking of surprising him in the night with a gift while kartik finds balloons and candles and hides them in the storeroom itself and then goes to naira;
"nairaaaa",said kartik whining;
"bolo kartik kya hua? kuch chahiye tha kya ?",said naira
"voh naira i was thinking that u should go to singhania sadan to meet everyone",said kartik
"aree kartik abhi 2 din pehle toh mile thei na ..i will go after some days",said naira
"you should go aur vaise bhi you did not meet kirti that day",said kartik hoping she would say yes
"this is a good chance i can go out and by kartik a gift also",said naira in her mind;
"aree naira pls maan jao . if you will go then only i can suprise something varna toh you will find it out",said kartik in his mind
while kartik wish gets fulfilled and naira agrees to go while kartik thanks krishna ji (his companion) After some time, naira leaves to singhania sadan while kartik goes to the storeroom and is about to leave the storeroom but sees a letter ; he picks it up and starts reading it

dear naira , when u read this letter , it will be very heart breaking for you but its the bitter truth and you will have to accept it . after knowing the truth you may be upset and angry at us and that anger of yours will be justified. akshara and i have hidden a truth from you , we have lied to you saying that you are our daughter but the truth is you are not a singhania , you are an orphan. we brought you from an orphanage as our real daughter died the day when she was born. we are really sorry .
