CHAPTER ONE

Y/N POV

I watch as the trees and bushes, which were a blur to the eye, passed me as I sat in a cabin of the antique, scarlet train. A cold shiver overtook my body for a second as I heard a knock on the compartment door.
"Hello?" I said as a person opened the door.
"Sorry to interrupt but may I sit here," asked a voice.
"Of course!" I replied with a hint of excitement.
The boy than sat down and put his hand out for me to shake.
"Remus, Remus Lupin," Remus stated with a slight smile.
I looked at the boy he had messy, sandy blonde that wasn't long but wasn't short and amber eyes. He was also quite tall and looked like a 2nd or 3rd Year at least.
"I am Y/n!" I replied shaking his hand.
"Nice to meet you," He said smiling, making me realise something.
He had scars all over his face just like me. Except he had more.
'Interesting' I thought as I sat back in my chair.

Me and Remus talked for a while, I found he was a first year like me and he enjoys reading like me again. He showed me this muggle book he is reading. It looks so interesting, I wish mother and father would allow me to read muggle books. Every time I ask they say the same thing 'Malfoys read Pure-Blood Wizard books not those made by idiots.' Then they tell me to go away.
Suddenly there was another knock on the door. I stood up and opened it to reveal a boy. He had beautiful hazel eyes and short, black hair. He was around 5'0 (AN: I was 5'4 at 11 hbu) which was only a little taller than me.
"Hello," I said politely as I stepped away from the door to let the stranger in.
"Can I sit here with you guys every where else is full?" He asked as he walked in.
"Sure, take a seat," Remus replied positively hitting the seat gesturing him to sit.
He smiled at Remus and took the seat next to him.
"I am Y/n!" I stated giving the unknown boy a warm smile.
"James, James Potter," James introduced himself returning the smile.
Remus introduced himself and we all started a conversation about Hogwarts and how excited we were.
"My brother, Lucius, who is going into sixth year said Hogwarts is amazing!" I exclaimed looking at the boys
"What hou-" James was interrupted by two boys opening the door.
"Me and my friend Peter need a place to spend the rest the train ride," confidently stated a boy with shoulder length black hair and piercing grey eyes.
"So can we sit with you guys," the second boy said timidly.
The second boy was rather plump with a hair colour similar to Remus' but he had blue eyes instead of amber.
"Please do we could need more company." James exclaimed gesturing for them to join the conversation.

After about 10 minutes the boys had introduced themselves as Peter Pettigrew and Sirius Black.
"I swear I know you!" Sirius said for the 20th time, looking and pointing at me.
"I could say the same thing," I replied.
"Y/n what's your last name?" James asked butting in the conversation.
"... Malfoy" I sighed
Suddenly Sirius' eye's widened.
"YOUR BROTHER IS MARRYING MY COUSIN!!" Sirius shouted with a very loud realisation.
"OMG YOUR COUSIN IS NARCISSA BLACK!" I shouted in response.
"Can you guys please stop shouting." Remus sighed.
"Yes Sir," Sirius said saluting as a joke.
"Thanks" Remus replied sarcastically.

We all talked for hours and learned almost everything about each other. I also found out that we are all first years so we will have some classes with each other.
"What house do you guys wanna be in?" Asked James adjusting his glasses as he glanced around the room.
"Any house would be fine," Peter replied almost immediately.
"I would like Gryffindor but that's impossible as I come from a long line of Pure-Blood Slytherins," I said disappointed with myself for no reason.
"Same as Y/n," Sirius frowned.
"Couldn't you just break that long line and be what you wanted." James stated like he was an inspirational speaker.
"Since when you could say something that is inspiring?" I asked James sitting up in my seat.
"Since about 40 seconds ago," He replied checking his watch.
I chuckled as I got a book from my bag. I picked it up and dropped the torn-ridden book on my lap. 'A Hogwarts History' the title read while I found my page.
