Jisung was dead. He didn't even want to get out of bed and go to class, he just wanted to sleep in and ignore everything but he knew he couldn't so he begrudgingly got up and got ready.

"Good morning Hannie" Hyunjin smiled at his friend "You're tired again"

"It's a different type of tired this time, I stood up all night" Jisung pouted.

"Han Jisung why would you not sleep we have our midterms today are you insane" Hyunjin shouted.

"Our midterms are next week Hyunjin," Jisung said rubbing his temples "And stop yelling why do I always have to scold you"

"It's on the 14th," Hyunjin said.

"Yeah which is next week why are you stressing" Jisung corrected.

"Today is the 14th Jisung" Hyunjin reminded.

Jisungs heart dropped to his ass 'there is no way he quickly pulled out his phone and sure enough, it was the 14th. Which meant his mom was gonna be calling him soon.

"Did Mrs.Han call yet?" Hyunjin asked.

"I don't even wanna think about her or my brother let's just hope I don't fail," Jisung said dragging his friend to class.

The class went by and Jisung is sure he failed since he didn't understand a single question. But it's over now and he can't do anything about it except forgetting it.

'And here goes the drama' Jisung thought as he answered the phone.

"Hello Mother, what do you need" Jisung answered.

"Jisung where are you? You know we are visiting your brother today we promised him" His mom asked concernedly.

"I refuse to see him, mom he hurt so many people," Jisung said.

"They are all liars! Your brother wasn't even drunk that night they lied" His mother continued to yell over the phone.

"HE'S A BAD PERSON HE ALWAYS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DEFEND HIM SO MUCH" Jisung shouted back finally snapping at his mother.

"He's the only child I had that has some worth in this world," She said before hanging up.

This broke Jisung. Why, why him? I did everything to help her and she still chooses him.

Jisung has an older brother or to him HAD an older brother since he will never consider himself related to such a monster. His brother Han Hyunsung was in prison and will be for years all because of his alcohol addiction. This addiction took the life of 3 people and almost his own. And yet somehow his own mother wouldn't believe that her son was the issue and that he needed help. Instead, she condoned his behavior because, well, he was simply her favorite child.

Han Hyunsung killed 3 human beings and almost himself and his own brother out of selfishness while Han Jisung is making a life for himself, going to school, and trying everything in his power to be the best he can be. And yet he was never enough he could never be better than an actual criminal.
