The little girl keept her head down again. "Did you hear at least a word of what I just said?" The boy asked standing a few inches from her face.
"You are a failure! Every time you come with us you screw up and put us in danger!" "Take it easy, Mylo" said her other brother, Claggor, by stepping in. "What? I'm just saying the truth and what we all think!" He shouted again pointing the finger against the little girl, who stood in front of him.
"What's going on here?" The room's door opened and the figure of a girl with pink hair stepped forward. "Mylo, would you stop yelling?" Asked Vi, annoyed, then her look fell on her sister.
"Why won't anyone listen to me? And why do we keep taking her with us? She jinxes every job she's in!" He yelled staring into the little's girl blue eyes. However, after this Vi headed towards him, forcing him to step back until his shoulders were against the wall.
"You know what? I'm sick of these talks, Powder is as much part of the crew as you are, and she's also your sister. Yes, things don't always end well when she comes with us, but she's only twelve!"
Mylo simply looked away to avoid the stern look of Vi. "At her age you were already jumping on roofs without problems..." He whispered when she had her back to him.
"What did you say?" "Nothing!" He replied quickly.
"As I thought" She grabbed the hand of the little girl.
"Let's go Powder. I want to show you something" She said, smiling softly at her.
