Deadly Scene #7: 🍑

"Taehyung, we're rehearsing your kissing scene with Jackson today." Joo-Yung said.

"What!? I thought we agreed to remove it already?" Taehyung nervously asked.

"Don't worry. It will be a fake kiss. Jackson will put his thumb over your lips while he cups your face.  That's why we need to rehearse to see how we can make it look real."

Taehyung was relieved.

The director called Jackson and Taehyung to the stage to start rehearsing.

"Don't worry Taehyung, I'll make sure we get it right the first time." Jackson said smiling at Taehyung.

"Thank you, Jackson.  You told your girlfriend that it's a fake kiss right?"

"Yeah, sorry for what she did the other day. I was shocked when she made a big deal out of the kiss. She told me at first that she doesn't mind as long as it's with a guy, bet when she saw you, she flipped. So, we gotta make this work, because if it doesn't and we really have to kiss, I'll be sleeping at the sofa forever." Jackson said and they both laughed.

"Jungkook made a big deal out of it too when he found out that I'd be kissing you too!"

"Jungkook as in our basketball team captain, Jeon Jungkook?! You're together?!?!"

"Ssssh, sorry. I don't know yet if we have a label. He's my best friend and eventually we fell for each other, or at least that's what I feel. I dunno, it's scary and amazing at the same time." Taehyung said.

"Now that explains how super legit your crying scenes are! That's an "unfair advantage" don't you think so?" Jackson chuckled.

"Internalizing is difficult for me so I'm thankful that
I don't have to do much of it. I just think of my situation and tears start to fall."

"I hope you work it out Tae, Jungkook's a lucky guy to have you."

"I'm equally lucky too." Taehyung smiled.

"Ok, Jackson, Tae, whenever you're ready." The director said.

"Let's do this." Jackson said and Taehyung nodded.

"Red, I can't live without you. You're my everything amd I realized that I love you more than a friend. Can we give us a chance please?"

"Jay, I'm scared. I don't know if I'd be enough for you. What if one day you just wake up and you realize that you don't want to be with a man. I don't think I'd be able to handle that."

Taehyung swallowed hard as his lines were too close to home.

"I will never let that happen, Red. I love you."

Jackson started holding Taehyung's face and places his thumb over his lips when their faces were just an inch away from each other. They appeared like they were kissing as they both moved their head.

"And, cut!" The director said.

Jackson and Taehyung separated and the older gave Taehyung a thumbs up sign.

"That was perfect! And I thought it won't work. Good job you two!"

They rehearsed other scenes the entire afternoon and by 4 pm, they were done.

"Hey, Taehyung! I want you to meet my girlfriend, this is Kim Jennie." Yoo-Jung said.

"Hi, yes we briefly met when I signed up for the drama team. I'm Kim Taehyung." Taehyung said.

"Ooooh we're all Kims! Nice to meet you Taehyung." Jennie said.

"Same here." Taehyung said.

"We're going to the cafeteria to grab some snacks. You want to join us?" Yoo-Jung said.
