I never thought I'm actually gonna publish this version cuz well... yk I translated this at 3 o'clock am and I was tired as hell and English isn't my mother tongue. Also Google's done a lot of it so just ignore the grammar mistakes. I also had to look up a few words so if they sound wrong- I AM SORRY!
The next time I try to translate such things in a less inappropriate moment-
But now try to enjoy this (rather short) OS from my all time fav couple<3 (though it's kinda weird in the end)
Supplement: I wrote this oneshot more than a year ago so I hope you accept my apologies for this uhm whatever this is. I just didn't want it to stay in my drafts and be written for nothing.
I'm currently translating my other oneshot so stay tuned:)

It was Christmas eve and Minerva sat, with a cup of tea in her hand and wrapped in a blanket, by the warm fireplace. This year, she had to celebrate Christmas alone. Her mother died two years ago and in Hogwarts have stayed so less students, that it would have been pointless to stay there. Also Albus had said she could go home for the holidays. Her pupils reflected the fire and she listened to the soothing crackle. Lost in thoughts she starred into the flames and didn't notice the knocking at the door.

When it knocked for the third time she stood up hastily and went to the door to see who would visit her at this time. She opened the door and her heartbeat stopped for a moment.

"H-hello Albus" she said surprised.
"Hello Minerva" he said smiling.
"Uhh... would you like to come in?"
"Yes, thank you."

Albus entered the house and they went to the living room.
"Take a seat. Would you like a cup of tea?"
"That would be wonderful."

Minerva went into the kitchen to make a new pot of tea. While she was away Albus nervously sat on the sofa and noticed her perfume which emanated from the blanket next to him.

Minerva came back and gave him his cup of tea. Then she sat down next to him with her own mug.

"Actually I only wanted to bring you something."
Minerva looked at him perplexed. "Really?"
"Uhh... yes, so because it's Christmas tomorrow I thought you'd maybe like this."

He gave her a packet with golden and red wrapping paper. Minerva had to smile when she saw the colours of the wrapping paper.
"Thank you, but what's that for?"

"Oh I'd know a whole list. Just take it as a Christmas gift from a friend."
Minerva flushed a little.
"Okay thanks! But I haven't got anything for you."
"Don't worry about that."
"May I open it now?"
"Exceptionally" Albus said smiling.

Carefully Minerva opened the package and saw a Facsimile of the first edition of Shakespeare's sonnets. "Oh my- Albus!"
"I- I saw it and thought maybe you'd like it" Albus said fast. "But if you don't, I can-" Minerva interrupted him. "It's perfect" she said. Thankful she gave him a kiss onto the cheek.

As she noticed what she was doing she flinched back. "Sorry" she muttered a bit embarrassed.
"For what?" Albus asked. Minerva looked at him and realised once again how much she liked this man.
"Nothing, nothing..."

Because she didn't know what to do she opened the book and started reading the first of the love poems.

Albus moved closer to her and their hands touched each other inadvertently. Minerva closed her eyes and enjoyed his closeness. Unwittingly she grapped his hand and squeezed it. Albus returned the push and looked at her- at the same moment as she looked at him.

Their eyes met and Minerva felt like time would be pointless. His blue eyes radiated something reassuring and he gave her the feeling of safety. Her heart was beating wildy against her chest and she thought one had to hear it through the whole room.

Albus came closer and gave her a kiss onto her cheek.

"Merry Christmas Minerva" he whispered. "Merry Christmas Albus" she whispered back.

Their faces were only a few centimetres apart from each other and their hands were still locked together.
Minerva closed her eyes and Albus closed the distance. Their lips met and Minerva felt like someone was holding a firework inside her. Cautiously she wrapped her arms around his neck and he pulled her closer to him. Everything was forgotten, there was only the two of them.

And both became aware of that they've wanted this for a long time.

After a while Albus interrupted the kiss and pulled her up. Minerva suspected what he was up to and turned on the music. Quietly the song "Stay with me" by Danity Kane was played.
Albus layed his hands on Minervas hip and slowly they began to dance.

Minerva enjoyed being around him. As the song ended they stood still and Minerva asked with a shy smile: "Don't you want to stay for the holidays?"

Albus gave her a kiss. "Nothing's better than that!"
