Chapter 12

Miranda went online looking for an apartment, she really wanted a house but it was just her and the baby so she settled for a two bedroom apartment

"Miranda sweetie, I'm heading out" Helena said walking to the door

"Okay ma see you later" Miranda said still looking on her laptop

An hour later someone knock at the door. Getting up Miranda went to answer it

"Hey baby" Ben said standing on the other side

"Hello, Benjamin" she went to her laptop

He walked over to her and tried to kiss her, but she turned her head

"What are you doing?" Miranda asked

"I was trying to kiss you" he tried again but she moved her head again

"Come on Miranda" Ben sucked his teeth

"Move" she tried to push him

"Give me a kiss first" he leaned to her lips, Miranda looked at his lips for a while, she really missed him and his lips but what he did to her ran through her mind

"I'm waiting" he said

"Well keep waiting" she went back to her computer

"Miranda"

"I have a doctors appointment tomorrow" she changed the topic

Sighing he moved and sat down next to her

"So you're leaving today?" Ben asked

"Yeah"

"Where are you going to be staying" he turned to her a little

"A hotel or something"

"Miranda you are not staying in a damn hotel when I have a whole place" Ben scrunched his face

"That's not your call Ben" she got up and walked into the kitchen

"Yes it is if my child is involved Miranda" he followed

Sighing she just kept quiet because she didn't want to argue with him. Ben walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her stomach

"Ben"

"I miss you Miranda and I'm sorry for what I did baby, I want you back and I want my family together Miranda baby please" Ben said kissing her neck

"I miss you too, but what you did really hurt me" Miranda said turning around in his arms looking into his eyes

"I know and it was stupid of me to agree to that baby and I'm so sorry please just give me a chance to show you how sorry I am"

She wanted them back together very badly and she wanted her son to grow up with both his parents in one home, she missed Ben bad, but what he did really hurt her and she's scared he might hurt her again.

"Miranda?"

"One more chance that's it" she said looking at him

"Thank you" he said as he hugged her

A few hours went by and Miranda and Ben had her things packed for her to leave

"You got everything sweetie" Helena asked

"Yes ma'am"

"I'm gonna miss you" Helena hugged her

"You're acting like I'm leaving forever" Miranda laughed

"Knowing you, you might just and it was nice meeting you Ben" she hugged him

"Nice meeting you" he hugged back

Getting to Bens place Miranda got everything in order and was ready to lay down and sleep

"I'm going to sleep" Miranda told Ben

"What would you like for dinner?"

"Chinese food and make sure they don't forget the egg rolls" she rubbed her stomach

"Okay, I love you"

"I love you too" Miranda said as she watched him walk out the door

It was 9:00am when Miranda's alarm went off so she could get ready for her doctors appointment. Walking into the bathroom Miranda went to the sink as she started to brush her teeth she saw something shiny on her right hand putting her right hand in front of her she saw her promise ring

"Ben..." she said turning to the door and there stood Ben

"Baby, I wanted you to wear it again and to know that I'm for real this time with you" Ben said walking up to her

Miranda hated how the pregnancy took her through the motions because she just stood there crying

"Miranda baby..say something, anything"

"I really hate that I love you so much" she looked at

"I love you too" he smiled and kissed her

"Alright Miranda girl the baby is healthy and beautiful" Dr. Pits said

"Of course he is" she smiled

"Y'all ready to see him" she asked

"Yes please!!" Ben said

Dr. Pits turned the screen so that they could see the baby

"There he goes"

"I'm really gonna be a father" Ben said with tears in his eyes

"Awww...we have a name yet?" Dr. Pits asked

"No, not yet"Miranda sighed

"We can always name him after me" Ben smiled

"I told you my baby is not becoming a jr"she rolled her eyes at Ben.

"Why not my name's not bad" he laughed

"It's not I just don't want a junior" she laughed.

After the doctors appointment Ben drove them home so Miranda could relax for the rest of the day.

"Baby don't you think it's about time we go shopping for the baby" Ben ask

"I already ordered everything and they should be here next week" she said

"Really Miranda you ordered everything"

"Yes" she laughed

"Callies been calling me" Ben said

"For what"

"She wants you to talk to her Miranda" Ben sighed

"Well, I don't want to talk to her so you can tell her to stop calling" she fussed

"Alright, alright calm down baby" Ben rubbed her stomach

"Why does she even still have your number?" Miranda asked

"I don't know baby" he sighed

"You aren't still talking with her are you?"

"No, Miranda no" Ben looked at her like she was crazy

"Just checking, but what do you think I should do?" Miranda asked

"I think you should talk to her and maybe give her another chance just like you gave me another" he shrugged

"I don't know why I even asked you" she got up to use the restroom

"Come on Miranda don't act like that!" He yelled so she could hear him

"Whatever Benjamin!" She yelled back.
