Silence

Sitting here in silence, quiet and soundless only hearing my own thoughts
Sitting in a room with no one there besides me
The quietness is miserable not able to speak not able to hear a noise. Just sitting here in my thoughts

Looking at the wall hoping to finally speak, the silence is killing me just like my demons
Sitting here in this silence could drive someone mad, you can even hear a pen drop if you did
Wishing I could leave this room but I can't, waiting to see you again

Counting down the days one after another, time is ticking, mind is racing, heart is beating
Losing track of time in this silent room, losing days, the pain of you gone is unimaginable
Sitting in this silence, no windows, no outdoors, just blank walls and a single light to light up the room

Sitting on the bed hoping you'll come save me, the silence is unbearable losing sleep
The silent room is driving me mad each day I'm here
Can't escape locked inside losing myself each day not knowing what to do

People say quietness can drive someone crazy, we'll it worked
