  Ruby pov

  I was sitting in the police station questioning room waiting for that lady to come back and tell me I'm free to go. Well...that was a lie. I was thinking about y/n. He was a real person in those cards and he spoke to me. I would be a bigger liar if I didn't admit I was giddy out of my mind that he appeared and not to mention to protect me. I stared at the three cards until the lady came back and well...to say she didn't look happy was an understatement.

Lady:"you lady do you have any idea how much trouble your in?" She crossed her arms

???:"say none" a voice said from nowhere

Ruby:"huh? What?" I looked around and saw no one

Lady:"don't give me that young lady. You know what you did" she scolded me

Y/n:"sorry Rosie. It's me y/n I'm in your head. Got this idea from some talking clothes...don't ask" he explained

Ruby:"Oooh!" I responded to him out loud

Lady:"exactly young lady. Now typically I would send you off with a pat on the back...and a slap on the wrist" she went to stop in only for a golden light to envelope the riding crop and stop it mid air.

Lady:"young lady let go of my crop"

Y/n:"I'm not a lady and No...forgot you can't hear me" he told himself "hold on ruby"

  Suddenly a transparent version of him appeared next to me. He looked the same except his chains actually bound him together.

Y/n:"there we go. Now only you can see me Rosie and don't worry about speaking outoud to me we have a telepathic link now so just talk to me through your thoughts"

Ruby:'like this?' I spoke to him

Y/n:'exactly' he told me through my head

Lady:"let go of my crop now or you'll be in even bigger trouble" she scowled

Y/n:"say please" he glared at Glynda ineffectively

???:"now now Glynda its not her but something else perhaps. After all that's not her semblance at all"

I looked over and was immediately star struck. Professor Ozpin was here and to top it off he had cookies! I kept an eye on them salivating.

Ozpin:"before I give this too you would you mind having whoever is holding glynda's crop let go?" He told me

Y/n:"tell him only if she plays nice" he told me

Ruby:"uh...he says "only if she plays nice" I relayed his message

Ozpin:"so it's a he? Glynda can you keep your crop at your side?" He asked her

Y/n:"I can detect lies so she best be careful" he kept his eyes on her

Ruby:"he can detect lies professor so...please be honest" I put my hands together as if to plead

Glynda:"I will...try" her crop remained stuck

Y/n:"do or do not there is no try"

Ruby:'do you have to be so stubborn y/n' I ask

Y/n:"when it comes to any aspect of your safety? Yes. Also...this is fun" he chuckled

Ruby:"...he says "do or do not there is no try" I sighed

Glynda:"fine!" She said frustrated and soon her crop was free

Ozpin:"lovley. Now ms.rose...you have silver eyes" he got close before setting down the cookies

I said nothing and proceeded to wolf done the cookies.
