"The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands."
This is my all-time favorite verse, and it's seen me through a lot of hard times. I actually first memorized it in ESV, which goes like this:
"The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, oh Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the works of your hands."
What I love about this verse is that it reminds me that God not only has a plan for me, and loves me, but that I am the works of his hands!! I mean think about it! God, A. Has a plan and a purpose for you, B. Loves you forever and C. You are the works of his hands, and he will never abandon you! What a wonderful God we serve!
My prayer for all of you today:
God, bless everyone reading this. Help them all to trust in your perfect plan, and to seek your steadfast love. Show them all their worth in you, as we are all made by your hands, known before we were even born. Lord, do not forsake us, but guide us and love us and keep us safe. In Jesus' name, Amen.
