I couldn't let what they did to me tear me apart. So the girls invited me to beach party. "Come on y'all" I said and we took a group selfie. I posted it on my instagram. Then we left out Kennedy was driving and we all turned on our favorite songs.

It went from 1D to Beyonce. We were already turnt so we were going to be turnt at the party. "Uhh nigga leave next alone" Jonee complained. "What you talking about?" Kennedy asked as I turned down the music. "Ray he still not over me like nigga damn. I blocked him everywhere and he made another account to try to get back with me. Like leave me alone he annoying" She complained.

"Fuck him" Tia said. We soon arrived at the beach party. "Ayye turn up" I yelled. "Hey boo" our friend Shanayah said. We all got in a group hug.

Then drip drop came on. Then we was killing it except for Kennedy she was with her boyfriend. Then Stay with me came on and I felt awkward because it was just me and Jonee without someone to dance. "Heyy you wanna dance" A boy said going to Jonee. "Go ahead" I said and she walled away with him.

"Hey can I get a green apple smoothie?" I asked. "Sure" the bar tender boy said. "How much?" I asked. "On the house" he said and handed me my smoothie. "Thanks" I said he was cute. He looked mixed but was dark skin.

He had hazel eyes and a nice body I might add. I had most of my drink and we had small talk and he was funny. "Come on" he said pulling my arm. What his charms got the best of me. Let's just said we had a little dance battle and people caught attention to it. He danced to that whole song and I danced to Grown woman Let's just say a little bit of step up revolution got in my moves.

What can I say I wanted to win. "What's your name?" I asked as he helped me up. "Dylan" he stated. "Lexy" I said. "Not bad Lexy, not bad" he complimented.

"I try I try" I joked and he laughed. I was to caught up in my conversation with Dylan that I didn't even notice that I was dancing and he had never let go of my hand. "So can I get you number or your kik or something?" He asked. I gave him my kik and then we started partying again. "So you don't work here?" I asked.

"Nope I wanted something to drink and no one was around try hen this beautiful girl came and asked for a smoothie and how could I say no" he said. I was trying not to but I was smiling too hard. "Lexy?" A familiar voice said I was looking around to where the voice was coming from. That's until Dylan pointed to the stage and on there were people I never wanted to see again. They were coming towards us and I didn't want to see or talk yo them.

"Dylan it was nice and all but I have to go I'll text you later" I said and Jonee was right next me. We ran and I could hear them calling us trying to catch us. We never stopped running. I looked back and they were still chiding us. Jonee grabbed my arm and we went up dome stairs. Tia, Megan and Kennedy was pulling up with the car. We got in and they drive off. I turned around and seen them standing there all of them. I sat back down and relaxed a little.

"Why the fuck were they here!" I yelled. "They some bitches" Tia said. "Know what I feel like beating their ass" Jonee said. The rest of the car ride was quiet mainly cause they ruined our good time. The only reason we ran is because they would try to talk to us and apologize and all that stuff. We was running away from their bull shit.

2 weeks later
Me and Dylan really been getting close. I'm going out with him tonight. He picking me up at 7. I'm kind of happy because I really like him. Jonee and Kennedy was over my house. Tia was sick and Megan was out with her family.

Kennedy and Jonee were looking for a way to style my hair. We weren't going out on a candle lit dinner or something fancy we were going to a party. We're young we need to party and live it up. I was already dressed in my outfit it was a bright pink sleeveless and black jeans and my pink and black jordands. Kennedy made my hair really cute it was flat ironed my hair and curled the ends.
