I woke up to the sound of Amelia, Izzie and Aprils pagers going off at the same time. As I opened my eyes they were just leaving and Arizona and Callie were sitting at the kitchen counter drinking coffee and talking.

Once they saw I was awake they started laughing. "Morning sleepy head, how did you sleep?" Arizona asked as Callie walked over towards the couch I was sitting on with an aspirin and a mug of coffee.

"I'm fine , I've got a headache from the tequila but that's about it" I mumbled as I took a sip of my coffee.

"Divorce can be hard but you just have to pick yourself up and keep going. Your stronger than you think Grey" Callie said as she gave me a sympathetic smile.

"Thanks Callie. All of you are like my sisters I love you" I say as I look around and notice the rest of the sleeping surgeons are now awake

"And your like ours Mer" Arizona said as she walked over and wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug.

"Your my twisted sister" Cristina laughed making her way over to sit beside me.

"What time does everyone have work at" I ask trying to direct their attention to something else before the tears threatening to spill down my cheeks decide they will. I don't like to cry it makes me weak or so my mother said.

"Ive got another hour" Jaz says as she checks the purple watch on her wrist

"Me too" Teddy says as she walks over to the fridge to get breakfast "who wants pancakes" she asks

"Me please" I say before stretching and getting up off of the couch

"So Jaz what's Ireland like" Teddy asked while she cracked some eggs into a bowl

"Ah sure, its very rainy and almost always windy. Our seasons are backwards and if we were to ever get snow its in february or march and only a thin layer at that" she states taking a sup of the coffee Callie and Arizona made her.

"Your accent is nothing like I thought an Irish accent would be like" Lexie added as she pulled out a stool and sat down

"Yeah American tv doesnt do our accent much justice there are also lots of different types of Irish accent depending on were your from" Jaz explained

"What would you call your accent?" arizona asked

"Well, I don't know what you'd call mine but I'm from a place called Clare. It's a lovely little place by the sea" Jaz said laughing at the confused looks on our faces

"You seem to add a lot of words to your sentences and takes some away" Maggie suggested

"I do sure, don't I" Jaz replied with a laugh

"So when you say sure what do you mean by that?" I asked as I got the plates out of the press for Teddy to put the pancakes on.

"Now that is something I cant explain" Jaz chuckled

We all started laughing and Lexie started handing out the breakfasts. We all got to know Jaz a bit better and she taught us some more about ireland.

'Bing' my phone went off as I was halfway through my breakfast, I checked to see who had messaged me and to my disappointment it was Derek.

"Great" I said as I opened the message

"Whats wrong" Lexie asked

"Derek texted, he said he's not signing any divorce papers until we talk" I say grumpily as I put my phone my down.

"He doesn't deserve to talk to you" Lexie said putting a comforting hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah he's the bastard that cheated on you and Meredith I know we only really met last night but i've heard stories, your awesome and badass and he's just a jerk" Jaz said giving me a comforting smile
