Fairy Tail Takeover

Ryu POV

I wake up to a new day but sigh. I head to the guildhall and begin drinking. Not even two minutes in I'm met with the others.

Lucy: "Hey Ryu, can we talk?"

Ryu: "What about?"

Natsu: "What happened at the tower of heaven."

Ryu: "I don't wanna talk about it."

Gray: "Just tell-"

Ryu: "Listen, I really don't wanna talk about it. I understand if you all have questions but just drop it. There're some things I just don't wanna share."

I get up and teleport to a hill overlooking the city. As I sit down father's voice echo through my head.

Father: "Goodbye my son."

I hold my head covering my ears hoping to block out his voice. His voice just grows louder when I hear a commotion coming from the guildhall. I teleport there to see all the girls turned to stone.

Ryu: "What the hell happened here?"

Happy: "Laxus-"

I invade his mind seeing everything that has happened.

Ryu: "That boy is in serious trouble."

I walk away when I hear cracking. Looking back I see Erza turning to normal. Without thinking she runs out of the guild.

Happy: "Wait a second, why're you here? Can't you just teleport us out of here?"

Ryu: "I can but I see no point."

Natsu: "Just get us out of here already! We need to help our friends!"

Ryu: "I don't wanna."

I take a seat at the bar when the other girls break free from their stone state. They then run out of the guild to deal with Laxus' goons. A few minutes later Natsu speaks.

Natsu: "Wow, Lucy kicked Bickslow's butt."

Gajeel: "No way, that little princess can actually fight?"

Natsu: "Yeah she's as tough as nails."

Gajeel: "She's just a cheerleader."

Ryu: "She had help from Loke."

I finish my bottle before teleporting away. I land sitting down next to Mirajane who's crying next to Elfman.

Ryu: "It's okay to feel useless. That's what it means to be human."

Mirajane: "How do I overcome it?"

Ryu: "You just buckle up and move on. You bury that uselessness deep down and pray it never comes back up."

Elfman: "That just sounds like running away."

Ryu: "It can be considered that way. But sometimes that's the only way you can stay standing."

I teleport away to the top of the bell tower. I take a seat on the ledge when I sense this great influx of power.

Ryu: "Guess she's got her fighting spirit."

There's then a large explosion of dark light. When it quiets down I feel Fried's magic peter out meaning he's down for the count. I stand up stretching.

Ryu: "Welp. Guess it's time I ended this little game."

I hop down to street level. From there I walk to where I sense Laxus' magic. After just a few minutes I arrive at a little cathedral. Entering I spot Laxus sitting on a small stair case.

Laxus: "So you've finally decided to join the fray. Didn't think you would."

Ryu: "This little game has gone on long enough. Surrender and I just might go easy on you."

Laxus: "Not on your life."

He makes a throwing motion sending a bolt of lightning at me. I limbo dodging it. He then brings his foot down in an attempt to hit me. I spin on my hands avoiding him. Still in the spin I slam my heel into his cheek sending him scooting across the floor.

Not giving up he makes a gold circle on his hand. This makes several lightning bolts storm towards me. I push off my foot jumping backwards dodging the first lightning bolt. Back flipping onto my hands the second lightning bolt misses me. 

From the hand stand position I tilt to the side landing on my feet avoiding the third lightning bolt. The final lightning bolt manages to get within arms reach of me. I simply hold out my hand. Upon contact the lightning courses into my hand up my arm. 

It continues into my chest as I reel my other arm back. When the lightning reaches my shoulder I send out my reeled back hand sending the lightning to Laxus. He crosses his arms as the lightning hits him. He begins being scooted back when he spreads out his arms sending the lightning into the air.
