Familial Return

Ryu POV 

As I make it on land I teleport to the closest person I sense. I arrive to see Natsu and others getting driven into the ground. 

Ryu: "Well what do we have here?"

Man: "A newcomer, will you tell me where to find fairy glitter?"

Ryu: "I don't know what you're talking about, but you're gonna pay for hurting my friends."

Man: "Hit me if you think you can."

I walk to him when this great sense of gravity hits me stopping me.

Man: "What's the matter? Can't handle the weight?"

I stare before walking towards the man. He reels back slightly when he increases the gravity. I keep my stride like nothing happened. The gravity keeps packing on but I don't stop.

Man: "What gives!? You should be as flat as a pancake!!"

Ryu: "You should give up while you still can."

Man: "Never!!!"

All of a sudden it feels like all the weight in the world is stacked on me. I do stop as my bones feel like they're about to snap. I grit my teeth.

Ryu: "Lost art: surpass."

The extreme weight goes away making me smile. The man displays fear when I zip to him punching his jaw. He's sent flying backwards hitting his head on rock enough to knock him out.

Ryu: "You guys okay?"

Lucy: "We are, thanks to you."

Happy: "So what do we do know?"

I look to the heavens invading everyone's mind. I then look back at everyone.

Ryu: "You guys go find the others. I have to pay someone a visit."

I teleport away into the floating ship in the air. I arrive at a throne room where I spot an old man sitting on a throne.

Ryu: "So you're the great Hades of grimoire heart."

Hades: "I'm impressed that you know me. Tell me have we met?"

Ryu: "No. But you'll know exactly who I am after this."

We both smirk before zipping to each other as a blur. We clash each delivering a right hook. We both then slam a magical attack on each other. We scream in pain jumping back. I fire a beam of dark magic. Hades smiles absorbing it.

Hades: "My turn."

He fires a beam of magic that rips its way to me. I catch it but get scooted back.

Hades: "I'm amazed you were able to catch it, but it'll soon rip you apart."

Ryu: "I'm not gonna go down that easily."

I open my mouth inhaling the magic. It enters my body making it boost with energy. I smile as Hades does the same.

Hades: "You're truly one of a kind. But I'm afraid this is where we end this."

He brings his hands together as a black ball of magic is formed.

Hades: "Say goodbye to everything you love, grimoire law."

A bright light emits that heads straight for me. I watch while thinking to myself.

Ryu: "This'll kill everyone here. I can dispel it but it'll cost me. Screw it."

I close my eyes causing Hades to smile.

Hades: "Accepting your death? You're among the bravest people who've faced me."

Ryu: "Lost art: great null."

A black glow shines off me colliding with Hades' attack. It overpowers his before engulfing him. He screams in pain when the place goes up in light. When it clears I find myself freefalling towards the ground. I close my eyes embracing the pain when I'm caught and brought safely to the ground.

Ryu: "Hey guys." 

Lucy: "You did it, you won."

Ryu: "At the cost of my magic energy."

Erza: "So you're down?"

Ryu: "For now. Just need to wait until I'm recharged, which shouldn't be too long."

I then develop a pleading look.

Ryu: "Till then do one of you mind carrying me around?"

Elfman slings me over his back.

Ryu: "I hope this doesn't make me in debt to you."

Elfman: "It doesn't."

I'm carried back to camp where I relax. 

Ryu: "So gramps, what's the plan now?"

Makarov: "Well since grimoire heart attacked during the s class trial, I think we should just head back to the guild to rest."

Everyone: "Sounds like a plan."

I smile when this major sense of dread.

Erza: "What's wrong?"

Ryu: "My god, it can't be."

I look down and begin crying.

Lucy: "Is everything okay?"

Ryu: "No, nothing is okay. He's here."

They all tilt their head when the sky darkens. They all look to the sky to see the one I dread.

Ryu: "Hello father."

A mighty roar fills the air as a black dragon lands on the island.

Makarov: "No, it's... Acnologia."
