I woke up to Jungkook staring intensely at me, as he gently drew circles on my back with his fingers.

"God you're so beautiful." He stopped what he was doing and gently kissed my lips. I reciprocated and I never wanted our lips to part. Being without him had felt like living without oxygen. There had been a constant feeling of impending doom, and I didn't think I would escape.

"You're embarrassing me. Stop it." I said quietly as I brushed some hair from his face.

"I mean it y/n." He cupped my face in his large hands and forced me to look deep into his eyes. Even if I wanted to look away, my eyes were glued to his and I couldn't bring myself to break the gaze. "If I was blinded right this second, I would be glad your face was the last thing I saw."

The knock on the door was unexpected and it totally ruined the mood.

"Are you guys awake? I was going to get coffee. I wanted to know if you guys wanted anything." Yoongi called through the door.

"No!" I shouted loudly. "We're not awake, we don't want anything."

"Message received. I'm gonna leave before I hear something I don't want to." I heard his footsteps leaving and I huffed.

"I guess that's that. There's no way I'm gonna recover after hearing his voice." Jungkook murmured. He slowly moved away from me and stretched.

"Yeah, I'm fairly sure I can't carry on whilst thinking about my brother either." I screwed up my face and faked throwing up. Jungkook laughed and we laid on the bed.

"What do you wanna do today?" He asked.

"Is it weird that I kinda wanna go back to college Kookie?"

"No. I think we should. I mean, we'll probably have to repeat this year. We've missed four months of school, but I definitely want to go back." He smiled and I was so happy to hear him say that.

"I wanna start getting back to normal. My therapist said it'll help with my panic attacks too." Kookie rolled over and pulled me closer to him.

"Then that's what we'll do. We'll go back to college." He kissed my forehead and I closed my eyes. I never wanted this to end.

"What about today? What are we doing?" He asked.

"I was thinking about going to the pool. Tae and Jimin said they were going, plus it means we can escape from Yoongi for a bit!" I suggested excitedly.

"That," he kissed the tip of my nose, "sounds like a fantastic idea!" He sat up and I climbed out of his bed. I stretched and he slapped my butt, and then ran into the bathroom.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!" I yelled as I chased him in there.

Things were starting to feel normal again, but little did I know, my whole life was about to be turned upside down.

We walked into the pool and Jimin and Tae were already there. I saw Yeji and Yuri across the pool and frowned. They spotted me and immediately began whispering to each other.

"Y/nie!" Tae made a point of being the first to hug me, and Jimin wasn't far behind.

"Urgh! Gross your hair is dripping all over me!" I whined. They laughed and began shaking their hair. Little droplets flew threw the air and landed all over my face and shoulders.

"I think she's had enough guys." Jungkook finally saved me and I glared at them.

"Every time I come here, you guys insist on soaking me!" I stamped my foot, pretending to be upset. The three boys exchanged a look and I knew what was about to happen. I tried to escape but Jungkook stopped me.

"I've got her hat!" Jimin quickly threw it to the side of the pool where it landed on their bags.

"I've got her bag!" Tae said as he pulled it away from my grasp.

"Sorry sweetie." Jungkook kissed my cheek and lifted me off the floor. The cold water hit me like a wall and I surfaced for air. The lifeguard was whistling loudly in protest and Kookie apologised.

"You're all jerks!" I squealed. I quickly climbed out of the pool and began wringing out my hair. Water dripped from me and created a puddle around my feet.

"We love you too y/n!" Jimin said as he laughed.

"I'm going to lie down!" I walked over to the sun lounger and made a point of getting all of their towels nice and wet for them. They didn't seem to care though. I laid down on my front and closed my eyes. I felt a cold liquid, followed by a pair of hands on, my back. I opened my eyes and looked at Kookie as he rubbed in the sun screen.

"I don't want you getting burned in the sun sweetheart." He said softly. I smiled and thought back to the last time we were here. Before I knew what he was going through.

"I love you Jungkook. Nothing will ever change that. Promise me you'll never push me away again?" I said quietly.

"I promise. I'm gonna stay by your side for the rest of my life. I love you sweetie." I smiled and settled on the sun lounger, as the three men joked around in the pool.

Yoongi had been ringing but I was still angry that he had ruined my morning with Jungkook. He wasn't going to ruin my afternoon too.

"Ugh," I answered. "What is it?! I'm busy!" I said angrily after the twenty third missed call.

"Y/n... It's Mom..." I dropped my phone. This had to be some kind of sick joke. Everything slowed down, and even as I stood to leave, I refused to believe what Yoongi had just told me. I didn't pick any belongings up. Jungkook would bring them.

"Y/n?" I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned. Tae looked puzzled as he stared into my eyes. "Is something wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost."

"T-Tae. M-My Mom... She's-" I couldn't get the last word out. It was stuck in my throat. If I said it, it became real. Right now, it wasn't real. He immediately turned and gestured for the other two to bring everything.

"We have to go." Jungkook had my phone in his hand and he had clearly seen the messages and calls from Yoongi.

My Mom. She was really dead.
