Can you hear it?

A little giggle or two,

A mouse squeaking past your feet,

The piano-playing a slow but harsh melody.

Your eyes are covered by two hands,

They feel cold to the touch against your cheeks,

You're afraid of the dark,

but you're more afraid of me.

HOWEVER!

Acceptance is key to the show.

My mad lad!

Open your eyes to see the circus you are.

There is nothing to be afraid of.

OH PLEASE!

OH PLEASE!

My lady,

Let me see those dazzling eyes,

Let me replace your ugly features.

Let me twirl you around like a puppet on strings,

A damsel in distress.

OH PLEASE!

Let me hold your hand tight as the moon shines bright.

I may not beat for you,

but your heart flutters around me.

Your body twitches with unease,

Your covered eyes are swollen & puffy,

Almost as magnificent as a bloody rose.

What a sight to see.

PLEASE!

I want to hear your shoes clap on the floor,

your gown sway to the harsh melody,

but to see your body move so gently to the beat of my heart.

You move your hand to me,

to my two lips that curl to you.
