My friend,

My dear,

Dear friend.

Don't be this demon,

This horrifying voice next to my ear.

Its words string me to the dancefloor,

making me perform to the crowd of eyes,

being ridiculed for my despair and blunders.

Don't disregard me,

I know what I've said may want you to leave me,

Yet please stay by my side.

I don't want to be left abandoned.

I have forgotten how to fly.

My wings are gone,

I have lost the hope in my eyes,

The blue in my eyes has been drained by the waterfalls I let out.

I'm left with aching pain in my heart,

Blood on the floor and on my gown.

I beg of you!

Don't leave me!

I love you so dearly!

You're the only thing keeping me afloat!

Your words soothe the sea from swallowing me whole.

Your eyes remind me that there's still could be hope for me.

I know your heart doesn't beat for me,

A knife to my heart,

A flame burned out,

But I'm still here,

Breathing.

Still existing.

I don't know how long I'll last until I let go.

From opposing the sea,

Your words have lost the touch to soothe it,

Your eyes have lost the hope I've been looking for.

The joy you once brought is gone,

It disappeared into thin air,

My love for you still held by my heart,

It seems your face has been unveiled.

It's not your fault,

It's mine.

I'm ready to perform,

I bring joy to others,

While my eyes shed a tear behind the veil.

My lover,

My friend,

I have accepted my fate

Oh!

How pleasant!

Let us dance by the mannequins & monsters!

Let us begin the show,

A demon with red skin as your rose,

Horns curved to the sky,

Eyes sharp & devious as ice.

You,

A gorgeous angel,

With sorrow eyes,

Blue as the sea.

Wings golden as the sun,

But nowhere to be seen.

Bloodstained on the back of your gown,

It drips onto the floor,

Leaving a stream of what you once were.

A sacrifice to be with me.

How romantic of you,

Leaving who you are to be with me.

You shouldn't have!

At least you could finally hear me.

Accepting that I am now part of you.
