Eyes so brown, so gold, so perfect
At your look my heart skips and never remains.
Skin as soft as cotton, warm like the suns glow.
Luminescent on my days so dark.
Lips thin and rosy, forever awaiting mine.
Your stare pierces my soul,
That laugh of yours makes me shiver.
Maniacal and evermore intimidating.
I shiver at thought of seeing you, talking to you, touching you.
You stay silent at my thought,
Reflecting your own feelings?
Feelings for me? For others?
I dare not to ask, for fear of resentment.
Of hurtful words, of...losing what we have.
Hair dark, unlike your heart,
I promise to have and to hold.
Not yet.
Cartoon to my voice, forgetting the words,
Only that you said them.
My body and heart be a shield,
To you and you to me.
I wait for the day,
Your lips against mine.
To run my fingers through
Your hair.
My palms my fingertips,
Along your skin.
My heart shatters at the thought,
Of you loving another.
