Some time has passed since Mr. Yasaburo left, in a possibly vain effort to retrieve Ocho from the Empire's clutches.

You're still not entirely sure why he wanted you and Lop to stay behind.

You can somewhat understand in Lop's case. She is his daughter after all, and he wouldn't want her to get in harm's way.

But what about you? A Force-sensitive Jedi who has certainly more than proven his capabilities against the enemy?

You'd think that he'd invite you to come along just to serve as a form of "insurance", in case negotiations with the Empire went south.

Which they almost certainly will.

You breathe a heavy sigh as you ponder. This whole situation is just a mess.

Maybe... he wanted you to train Lop while he was gone?

You could try doing that, probably. At least show her the basics of how a lightsaber works and everything.

You do sense a lot of potential in this girl's future. The Force has something planned for her, you can feel it.

You just can't tell, for the life of you, what that might be.

Perhaps, you could help steer her in the right direction. Show her how to be a force for good in this chaotic, enslaved world.

You open up the sliding door to Lop's room, curious to see how she would feel about being your new "Padawan".

The room is rather dark, but you can see her kneeling in the middle of the floor, like she's meditating.

She softly gasps and quickly turns her head to look at you, clearly surprised by your sudden intrusion.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to interrupt you or anything..." you say, about to head back toward the door.

"No, it's fine, don't worry." she assures you with a gentle smile. "I was just... thinking about my father."

"I see." you say, slowly stepping toward the rabbit girl. "Did you want to talk about it?"

"I..." she begins to say. "...I'm just so worried about him."

You slowly sit down next to Lop, to be at her side. At the very least, you want to be here for her.

Not suffering in silence all by herself.

"I don't know why he thinks he can bring Ocho back all by himself. Even with a few other soldiers at his side... I don't think he can do it." she quietly says.

"I've been pondering that, myself." you reply. "Maybe... he just wants to bring her back home peacefully?"

"I would like to think so, but it's the Empire we're talking about here. They aren't exactly known for making peaceful negotiations."

She pauses for a moment, briefly turning away from you. "...They're more likely to take him as a prisoner, than actually listen to what he has to say..."

You really don't know what to say in response to that, largely because it's entirely true. You've known the Empire for years now.

Seen the kind of monsters they truly are.

But in your eyes, you've hidden in the shadows for long enough now. You need to bring the fight to them, not the other way around.

You are about to speak, but Lop raises her voice first. "Show me how to use my blade. We have to stop them!"

"I was actually just going to ask you about that." you say, somewhat surprised she'd beaten you to the punch.

You then gesture to your own lightsaber, which is on your side and at the ready. "As I said, I've been trained in wielding a lightsaber nearly my entire life. It will take... a while... to teach you even the basics, but I'll do what I can."
