I woke up to the sound of my alarm waking me up I quickly got up and turned it off.
I got up went in the bathroom brush my teeth and got in the shower I played music while dancing in the shower
Another one of my alarms went off so I got out the shower and turn it off I dry off and got ready for school I let my hair down and wore some sweats with my white tee and put my jackets on
I tip toe down stairs trying not to make a sound
Unknown voice: come here faggot!
I turn around and I see my father
I walk over to him
Nai: yes sir?
Dad: where you going ?
Nai: school
Dad: it's Monday?
Nai: yes but I'm going to be late if I don't go to school now
Dad: okay I can take you to school let's have a talk
(Nai mind): me and my father doesn't have a good relationship he doesn't like that I'm gay and ever since I came out he started hitting me using me as his punching bag at times I wish I could run away but I have no where to go and my mother died when I as young I never know much about her or her side of the family it was just me and my dad and his homophobic side of the family
My father pat the seat next to him and I sat next to him but not to close
We sat in silence until he began to speak
Dad: Do you like girls Nai?
He knows I like girls I didn't want to answer because I know what would come next
He tightened his grip on the belt
Nai: yes and-
I got cut off by him beating me with the belt he punch me I had marks everywhere once he was done he left to go in the car I hurry and got up holding my stomach going to the car I zip up my jacket and put my headphones in as he drove me to school

I walk in the building and saw my best friend his name was Marco
I walk up to him and scared him
Marco: girl! Don't be doing that shit almost made me knock yo ass
I laughed
Nai: my bad Mar mar
That was my nick name for him
Marco: it's ok but girl have u seen the new boy he is toooo fine!
I sigh
Nai: oh lord here we go again
Marco: yes here we go again finna get me some dick!
I laugh
Nai: ok let's get to class
