♜ this story is set in late 19th-century philippines and vietnam. i've done as much research as possible in order to avoid any historical inaccuracies; however, do feel free to correct me if you spot any errors.
♜ majority of the characters are inspired by my own friends & acquaintances.
♜ "de mi" is spanish for "from me" whereas "à toi" is french for "to you". i decided to incorporate both languages considering how the protagonist speaks spanish whereas her lover speaks french.
