New Secret//ch 10

GingerBrave's POV

I walked away from the tree since I think Wizard was being a tad over dramatic about being seen. I heard him  follow behind, he stood next to me when I stopped walking. Suddenly GingerBright almost flung out of the trees. I knew it! Wizard jumped making that adorable little peep noise again. He grabbed onto me, but realized that it was a cookie and pulled his arms away from me. He then nervously put his arms behind himself,

"GingerBright, I knew you were sneaking around here!" I said proudly,

"Well not just me." She said while looking at a different tree. Strawberry nervously stepped out looking embarrassed and a little flustered,

"Uh..hi you guys. I'm going to stay at GingerBright's house for a couple of days." She murmured, she turned to GingerBright and whispered something,

"No there not.." I heard GingerBright reply a bit louder. Strawberry was basically now as red as a Strawberry. She whispered something to GingerBright in a slightly annoyed tone I'm guessing telling her to be more quiet? I looked over to Wizard who was standing there just as awkwardly as I was. He looked back at me and our eyes just interlocked for a second.

He tilted his head towards them also moving his one visible eye towards them. Then he looked like he was trying to tell me something again, I shrugged not being able to understand. He rolled his eyes and looked back at them, assuming to make sure they weren't looking and made a heart shape with his hands and tilted his head towards them again. Wait does he mean..?

"Wait so you mean that they love each other..?" I asked quietly making sure I was very quiet so the wouldn't hear. Wizard nodded,

"Have you not noticed how they act around one another?" Wizard whispered back, we both looked over at them. They stopped whispering and stared back at us,

"We are going to get going back home. See yah!" Wizard said, suddenly grabbing my hand and dragging me. I was a bit shocked but squeezed his hand affectionately and waved goodbye to the others,

"Bye..?" GingerBright said confused, Strawberry waved goodbye back. He speed up a little bit and then slowed down to a steady pace when the path curved,

"Okay sorry about that. But to add onto what I was saying, have you seen the hints? Strawberry acts around GingerBright similar to how I act around you." He connected, (yeah I ship strawbright fight me/j)

"That makes a lot of sense now..I always wondered why she liked to hang out with GingerBright so much. It reminded me of how some other cookie always wanted to be around me." I lightly nudged him with my elbow. He blushed and shrugged,

"Yeah..you are just really cute though." He softly spoke and I laughed feeling a little warm on my face. I'm happy that he feels comfortable expressing his feelings. I thought contently, Wizard always worried about seeming too obvious or taking things the wrong way. Little did he know that half the things I did weren't very platonic.

I mean I do like carrying him around all the time and hugging him really close to me. But he tried to convince himself that everything I did was platonic, which is somewhat understandable since we are pretty close,

"Right back at you!" I responded grinning, he moved closer to me so that our arms were basically touching. I think every time we walked together we were always this close, I just never noticed. I bent down letting go of his hand, he looked confused. I swept his legs from under him and tilted him horizontally,

"Wha-!" He murmured in shock as I carried him bridal style and kissed him on the forehead. He blushed a bright red and held his scarf with both his hands and pushed it higher on his face,
