I slipped on the ice skating boots. Wizard waited patiently as I grabbed onto the handrail and stepped on the ice. It was surprisingly slippery as I almost fell onto my side and was very wobbly on my feet. I struggled to stand up straight,

"Wizard you make this look easy!" I exclaimed,

"Well I do have a lot of experience, trust me you just have to get used to it." He assured and drifted in front of me with a small skrrtt. I slipped again as my legs kicked helplessly to stabilize myself. I heard Custard and Chili Pepper laughing at me,

"How about you two get out here and try it. Come on don't be shy." I passive aggressively shouted to them. I held onto the rail and pulled my legs straight up again

"I'm going to go help them out, are you going to do alright?" He asked quietly and with a bit of concern,

"Yeah yeah I'll be fine." I confirmed feeling a little embarrassed about not being able to even stand up straight. He nodded and majestically, perfectly and smoothly skated off. I couldn't help but just watch him, he was so insanely good at this and it was awesome. I wish I could do that! Maybe we could skate together..alone. I thought blushing slightly at skating together with Wizard. I decided that I should try and become better because sitting here doing nothing wasn't going to make me any better.

I was really stupid to think that was a good idea, because as soon as I let go of the handrail and tried to move forward I feel on my face and groaned in pain,

"Owww..maybe if I just keep trying." I murmured to myself getting up onto my knees and grabbing onto the handrail and pulled myself up, even more shaky. One more time.. I thought determinedly staying near the handrail. This time I almost did the splits and my knees buckled out from under me and fell into a sitting position. I saw Wizard, still flawlessly, rushing towards me,

"Brave are you alright?" He asked concerned, he let me put some of my weight onto him as I got up again,

"Mhm! I'm fine." I tried to persuade him as my knees threatened to buckle out from under me again. He guided me back to the handrail carefully,

"Brave please be more careful. Trust me you can get really hurt out here. I-I don't know what I would do if you got hurt." He murmured seriously,

"Okay I'll be more careful. Also to answer your question, you would probably take me to the ER." I joked, he nodded and stood next to me, still wobbly on my feet,

"Charging out into the middle of the lake won't help you at all, you're just gonna get injured. Start out slow, first make sure you know how to stand and move before even trying that. Like this," he explained and then grabbed onto the handrail and carefully skated alongside it. He waited on one end for me to come. I tried to move but I was mostly being propelled forward by my one hand on the handrail. He didn't seem to mind though as I came forward very slowly and shakily,

"See? Now if you keep practicing then you'll get more used to it and start to get better." He lowered down his scarf and gave me a excited smile for once I noticed a scar on his lower cheek,

"Awe look at that smile. This why I love you Wizard." I quietly said hugging him with one hand on the handrail. He glanced over at the handrail and pressed his face into my chest and hugged me back. I slipped a little but he was holding me so I didn't fall luckily. Wizard let go and skated backwards,

"Now you can skate backwards?" I laughed as he blushed,

"Yeah a little.." he agreed,

"I told you don't feel bad because you can't do it. I just have a lot of experience and hours and hours of practice." He quickly reassured and put back up his scarf. I smiled,
