I walked briskly to the south side of the city. It was a long walk and I had to take many detours to get here because someone was watching my every movement. Sighing I step inside a random building. It was old and abandoned like most of the buildings here. This place is really just a giant grave holding well over a thousand bodies of people who weren't lucky to have many heros around back about 40 years or so.

This building itself use to be 3 stories high and looked to hold multiple rooms. I shook my head and rubbed my arms. It honestly gave me the chills with its eerie walls falling apart and the smell of mold with moonlight shining through tattered curtains and shattered windows. Walking towards the back I peeked out a window. The sky was only slightly clouded with a full bright moon casting silver moonlight everywhere. Despite this place being a graveyard and eerie it's quite pretty.

Then I saw it. A person on a leaning skyscraper. That must be where I need to go. I wonder which villains I'll be dealing with. After all they are villains. Villains can't be trusted. I stepped back outside and started to make my way over, however I didn't get far. Once that rooftop person noticed me they and two other people headed in my direction. I stopped and prepared myself to fight never taking my eyes off the three figures.

"Now now Midoriya. No need to be wary, I'm sure you already know but I'll say it anyways. That anonymous letter was from us." A voice spoke up before they landed in front of me.

"Yeah I already had that figured out," I reply looking at each one individually. Shigaraki, Dabi, and Toga. Each one hid under a black hooded cloak. "I would just love to know why."

"That is something we'll answer but first we reinforced a safe place to talk so that extra ears and eyes can't see or hear anything." Toga looked at me from under her hood. It honestly gave her a mysterious vibe.

"Okay. I guess you should lead the way then." They nodded in response and led me through the buildings going deeper in. Once we reached the location, a small one room house, I asked again. "So why did you contact me."

"Relax kid. Let us at least get comfortable," Dabi sent a quick glare my direction as he took off his cloak.

"You relax to Midoriya. This talk might not be as quick as either one of us want it to be." Shigaraki sat down on the floor in the left corner while Toga sat and leaned on the right wall. Dabi settled down directly in front of me not giving me much choice so I sat where I stood. I look up to speak but Dabi spoke first.

"We called on you because we need your help."

"Woah what? I thought our goal was to talk him gently into the idea?" Toga asked looking almost worried. Dabi sighed and sent her a side eye.

"Why me?" I cross my arms glaring at him.

"Look I know that we tried to kill you several times but I want you to give us just a small ounce of trust and cooperation. In return I'll train you so that you can once and for all take down, or at the very least prove to Katsuki Bakugo that you are the best hero." Dabi spoke smoothly and calmly like he's been rehearsing those lines nonstop.

"Why should I? Why should I trust a word out of a villains mouth? Why are you even wanting to quote on quote help me with Katsuki. How did you even know about that?" The questions flowed out of my mouth one by one. I could see Dabi getting irritated but before he exploded Toga came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"This. All of this is my idea. I was there and I saw what he did to you. I know the secret as well. Don't worry I haven't told anyone. But I also saw how the class reacted to you. I felt bad. I felt bad because I was shunned as well. I'm sure you might've been able to guess why but I'll say it anyways. My quirk. It wasn't hero like so my town shunned. Kick me to the curb while adding insults to injury. It was a horrible feeling. Bakugo kicked you down. While you were down and bleeding from his backstabbing your classmates added salt to your wounds with what they said. I know they did. I could see the hurt in your eyes. And of course the only one to truly blame is Bakugo." As she spoke her other hand rubbed my back gently. I could see the care in her eye's, her voice. I felt pathetic getting sympathy from a villain but it was also nice.

"Ok. You're-" I stop to recover control over my quivering voice. I felt as if I might cry again. "You're right. They did do that." I took another moment to myself before continuing, "You said you were there. So who were you?"

"Umm. Well I think that the less you know the better for all of us around." She spoke softly.

"I can understand that. If I decide that I don't want to this what'll happen?"

"Well kid normally we'd kill you but after everything you've been through I'll make an exception." Shigaraki spoke scratching the back of his head.

"Exception to me living?"

"Yeah. I didn't want to say anything but we have a new recruit who's quirk is reading minds, past and present thoughts mostly, but of course this person can take a peek into the future and erase minds as well." Shigaraki answered me. As he spoke I took mental notes about this new quirk.

"Amazing" I mumbled thinking about it for a second.

"We don't need an answer right now. But aren't you interested in knowing what we need help with?" Dabi looked across the room at me. His gaze leaving a spine tingling shiver to run amuck through my body.

"Well. To be honest I am curious but I think I might already have an idea. You want me to give you intel on the school and the pro hero's there. Right?"

"Yes" Shigaraki stood up and took a step closer, "But to be exact we want to know each persons weakness, their strength, who's close to who and all the security details as well. Not to mention we'll need your help to get toga in for good as a classmate and we will also be needing you help around graduation."

"That's a lot of need Shigaraki. And for what? What are you giving me in return for my help? Training? I already have that" I was a bit annoyed. So many demands and so few reasons to do any of it.

"What you get depends on what you want. I'm sure above all else you want to put Bakugo in his place. I know the feeling. There is someone I want to beat down and embarrass." Dabi spoke low and cooly. You could tell that he hated whoever it was he was talking about. "But of course there are other things we can help you out with or give to you."

"You said I could think on it right?" I wanted to think things through. Clearly. This could be a very dangerous wager. And I don't know if I'm willing to pay the price of it yet.

"Of course Midoriya. You can take as long as you need but remember that if your answer is no then we'll need to. You know." Toga gestured towards my head and wiped her hand across hers. They would erase my memory. If they did that I don't know what other memories might be affected. I nodded at her then left. I had a lot to think about and what felt like so little time to do so.
